Ever notice, how you pack the lights up every year carefully, yet the next year, with out fail they come out tangled?
I will say, you can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle three things: a rainy day, lost luggage and tangled Christmas tree lights.
Meanwhile....the Snow Queen has arrived, with accompaniment by the Philadelphia Orchestra in the background, with my crappy video.
Thats all.
You are too cute! But I guess you already knew that.

That'll never make her rich.
Me, I uh... and I uh...
And I uh...uh...uh...
But I do it with a switch.
I'm electrifyin',
And I ain't even tryin';
I never have to sweat to get paid;
'Cause if you got a gimmick,
Gypsy girl, you got it made.

ReplyDeleteno tangles, easy to remove and rewind. and you DO twinkle like a shiny brite star, dear.
Delightful, sweetpea! xoxox
ReplyDeleteI've got about 8 inches here and I don't twinkle because my twinkler is on the fritz. With a little luck I'll go to bed and wake up with 18 inches, now wouldn't that be a nice present.
ReplyDeletego big or go home, as maddie always says. mine don't twinkle either.
Deleteyou and the mistress must have the same dream. and as your aware anything over 7" is just another night for him.
DeleteI want snow here, but all we got was rain!!!
ReplyDeleteNice lights, though!
It's the Red Light Special Bob!
DeleteMany of your readers will want to climb that tree alright!
ReplyDeleteGod's knows I wouldn't mind anything at this point!!!!
DeleteWonderful display, music and scenery!!!...and you - and that bulge - especially!!!
ReplyDelete...yes lights, cords and ropes all seem to have that uncanny ability to get tangled up...I think it’s a corollary of Murphy’s Law!!!
I thought the video was actually quaint. But DAMN does it look cold!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut that hottie warmed me back up.🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your so playful and a bit naughty...I love it!!! Red suits you to a T.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, should you be keeping more warm??? LOVED your musical selection. You had on WRTI didn't you?
Ye, yes I did! Not to worry about keeping warm, Im very hot blooded. I even sleep in the nude in the winter. I only just turned the heat on.
Deletei believe i can see your nut cracker.
ReplyDeleteIm like my boys dripping in red...Ho Ho Ho!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is not a crappy video. Sure shows what you're experiencing there. As for your photo, I don't know why but I'm suddenly singing "Really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree."
ReplyDeleteAnd to think, my peach wasn't even the side showing.
DeleteI love to be cosy inside, with nowhere to go and watch it snow. There's no snow forecast here.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas lights bring lots of cheer! Xx
I must say you make a mighty fine Christmas tree. And I hope you weathered the storm ok.
ReplyDeleteWith balls hung with care.
DeleteStay warm, dear. I was thinking of you and Anne Marie last night when Lester Holt was talking about the storm. You look marvelous, by the way. Santa now knows just HOW good you have been this year. Enjoy being snowbound. It's a wonderful opportunity to rearrange your music collection. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I bet I'll still be on the naughty list.
DeleteOh, that's a lot of.. snow, dear.
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope you were able to disentangle those lights. Not that they looked bad. Not at all.
Stay warm!
XOXO
Nothing I couldn't handle...it was only around 8".
DeleteHo-Ho-Ho!
ReplyDeleteIt's all so pretty to look at. Oh, yeah - the snow, too, I suppose. I hope you don't get completely snowbound.
ReplyDeleteI see your well lit?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the crappy video. I got moved in so wont be decorating. But we got some snow here, but nothing like you got...it was more inland. I also enjoyed seeing your house tour on Sunday!
So you do lights and a festivus pole, both I see?
ReplyDeleteThe festivus pole seems to stay up all year.
DeleteGlad to see you kept warm dear Mistress. Your so creative. I too actually like the raw video footage. It looks so warm and cozy......
ReplyDeleteI think we should have seen the tree, all, in it's full on glory, myself.
ReplyDeleteCome back at midnight.
DeleteWow, you got some snow. Now, going down the rabbit hole that is my mind, you mentioned Snow Queen. I seem to recall that I loved a cartoon that was either called Snow Queen or about the Snow Queen. In the story she held someone captive and I don't know recall how it ended. I think her heart melted or warmed. Anyway, I must now find this cartoon. I watched for several years, around Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteNow you got me wondering what it is. The only one that comes to mind is one of my favorite stories...The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
DeleteYou have no idea what I want to do with you right now.....
ReplyDeleteGood reliable IMDB...Anyway here's the Snow Queen cartoon that I loved as a kid:The Snow Queen (1957)

Mr Blue packs the lights away perfectly - the following year it's as though they are factory fresh. I am the opposite, I tangle everything.
ReplyDeleteThose lights suit you!
SX
Those lights are nicely draped.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
You certainly have a way with Christmas lights, that's for sure. And that is not a crappy video. I can post a video on Twitter of a hot lap I did in a race car in GT Sport and sometimes no one will watch it.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen it snow, which is not surprising considering where I live. That was actually fascinating.
Let that Yule log out!!!!!! I just want to scoop you up.
ReplyDeleteNothing makes me cross and ruins the christmas spirit than strands of christmas lights. They never fail to vex me.
