I particularly remember the thick Fogs of England, they were Eerie, yet Magically Beautiful at the same time and shrouded everything from View with just faint glimpses. The only Fog we sometimes get here in the Desert is when they irrigate large Agricultural Fields and it gets Cold enough to create Fogs over them.
I coolest fog I ever encountered was in San Fran...where you can literally see it move in and take over, from the bay coming down between the high-rises.
Super Jell. We are sitting at 36 degrees today... BAH. Down from upper 40's the past four days. It was so warm on Tuesday and Wednesday this week that I almost considered checking out the prairie to find like-minded souls. But... Covid. And why not wait until we are all vaccinated, right? Kizzes. Enjoy your fog. I tell you... I have stumbled on more than one interesting scene while in a fog... :P

Ah, yes, one never knows what - or who - may loom up out of the fog to give you the willies!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many willies caught me on a foggy night.

ReplyDeleteIt's very foggy here too. I too love a good foggy morning. It covers up a multitude of sins.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes think there is nothing prettier than seeing trees and forest in very dense fog. Great picture.

ReplyDeleteI cannot remember when I last had a foggy day. Oh but I like them too! It seems to say stay indoors with tea and books and perhaps a fire - bliss.
ReplyDeleteThats what I miss a firplace.
DeleteI would love a warm day. It's been murky for months, and it doesn't even look pretty here. It's like a wall of soggy gloom.

DeleteBrrrr..... Anything under 70 is cold!
ReplyDeleteI love fog as well.
ReplyDeleteI find fog magical and mystical -- but not so pleasant when I'm behind the wheel of the car and can't see the hood.
