SEASONAL MOOD

All the company and family are now gone, the last two left two hours ago...all that's left is Warbucks, who's in from Budapest... who will leave tomorrow to Philly to visit friends before returning back here for the New Years. A nice, quiet and calm moment. With cordials. Current mood:

  1. Love those gingerbread houses! Glad you had a good Christmas! I've tried to send you a couple of emails but I'm not sure if they've made it through.

    1. I actually got your email when you resent it. For some reason your first one never did show up. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your gift!

    1. Forecast? They are wearing those goggles when they left my boudoir. What can I say my aim is all over the place.

  10. You should bring the houseboys in out of the cold, don't want frostbite on the . . . .

    Pat Lark says,
What a beautiful house in that beautiful, snowy setting! I could live there if I didn't have to be outside. Except maybe to rescue the houseboys that have evidently escaped their duties!

  12. Anyone going wild swimming this time of year without full kit on could very well find themselves without all their appendages.

    1. We have these polar bear dips here, usually for charity. But it seems the people doing these always seem to be more rotund. You sure won't find me doing no winter swimming.

    1. Thank you Ricko! I did not know that house out of name, but it is so stunning. I could easily live in that as long as neighbors didn't mind me walking around naked.

Tundra Bunny here... The images you've chosen for this mood board are spot-on for the post-Xmas sigh of relief: Aaahhhhhhhh! Love the snow-covered stags, deer and red fox. Those gingerbread houses are stunning! My favourite image today is the little well-loved teddy bear in a bowl of vintage ornaments. It reminded me of the stuffed toy bunny I had as a very little girl -- I had hugged most of the velveteen fur off, its ears flopped because the wires were gone and its white tail was forever falling off which Mom always sewed back on for me!

    1. Yes, I think I had an elephant much the same way. The velveteen wore right off. Since moving back, I sure do miss my fox family that lived in the wood.
