I agree with what everyone else is saying, feel good, sweet Christmas songs, and of course classy Herb performing...timeless. Love the Fredricks advert!
That was so much fun. I want to be at a Mall where Sears is on one end, JC Penney in the middle and Wards is on the other end. And then hear this song. I would be so happy. 1968? 1971? What a blast. And the vintage ad? Adore. Kizzes.
I love me some Herb Albert, but that ad is confusing me. I think that's the most conservative outfit I've ever seen for sale at Freddie's.

DeleteThese songs are both festive and melancholy at the same time. Songs one does hear anymore, and how perfect for a happy hour!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely Christmas songs..but then Herb Albert never did anything bad. Yes, that was terrific!
ReplyDeleteThese are very festive tunes that we should hear more often on the radio, instead of the modern "carols" or as I call them, noise.

ReplyDeleteYears and years ago my sister had this album and every song is wonderful! I'm thinking late 60s. This album is priceless!
ReplyDeletePam Demic in a box dancing to the stylings of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. What could be better?
ReplyDeleteYour holiday sponsor, LOL!
