Another weekend...but no need to duck from flying objects today kids....I'm off today and heading later to view the Longwood Gardens for the season. It was a long week last week with another showroom opening, so I told our showroom manager- Look I'm exhausted, I'll see ya Tuesday babes." Daddy Warbucks got back into the USA Saturday, and we'll be catching up soon, so I must save some energy for him. I also hulled out the holly and other bits and did the decorating of the Casa yesterday, the mood stuck...then took a nice lie down, followed by a walk in the park with the pups. A nice weekend over all really. This should sum up my current mood.
I think this Monday calls for a bit of something upbeat and different and dare say boppy. I mostly like the old-time vintage Christmas songs and rarely if ever like modern ones...but this ditty is a favorite at my cock-a-tail hours.
Interesting, what is that green thing with the tentacles?
ReplyDeleteMe... on a bad day.
DeleteJingle my balls? You should have that on a tee shirt.
ReplyDeleteI love this mood board!!! But then I like club kids, and crazy twisted shit. The editorials are fun!!! We used to have one of those Santa's like in that first wreath, I wonder what ever came of it?
ReplyDeleteSome nice if not wacky moods! And you can host for the holidays?
ReplyDeleteCan I set up an appointment?
Contact my social director ASAP!
DeleteYou nailed this one with me Mistress. I bit of fashion, I bit of crazy and a bit of vintage! Enjoy the day! Longwood Gardens never disappoints any time of the year.
ReplyDeleteAnd that tune...Oh yes! I was toe tapping and listened twice.
Gosh, I hope candle lady's hair doesn't come down while those candles are still lit.
ReplyDeleteI know just how she feels, especially when I use a can of Aquanet
DeleteIf I could vomit gold, I'd never have to work again.
ReplyDeleteGreat music. I love the fashiond, the visuals, your balls and, especially, those lit shoulder pads.
ReplyDeleteI love those "out there" outfits! And that last photo is very neat!
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've seen gold dribbling out of a mouth.
ReplyDeleteIt's the second place I've seen it dribbling out of.
DeleteTundra Bunny here... The haemorrhoid pillow fashions don't exactly scream Xmas to me, but I can certainly appreciate that it could represent the stress levels some people feel in trying to meet unrealistic expectations of the season... Love all the bright baubles and bottlebrush trees though -- even your snazzy jazzy music is a nice change from the perennial muzak carols that assault my delicate bunny ears!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE me a bottle brush tree!!!!!
DeleteThe lady with the candles on her shoulder is just on time for St. Lucy's day
ReplyDeleteGlitter filled as always
ReplyDeleteI need some of that fashion for the holi-gays!
ReplyDeleteSome of that fashion will get you looks while shopping in smallville!
DeleteAnd I would love the looks! Scaring the old guard is my thing.
DeleteThose are quite the holiday gifs!
ReplyDeleteThey Sleighed girl!
DeleteHappy Holigays!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love vintage xmas ornaments!!!
XOXO
So you're in a divinely weird mood? Does that about sum it up? I love that fist necklace! Everything about that picture reminds me of my maternal grandmother and what she was like when she was younger. She was quite the sophisticated lady with long piano fingers, and she smoked and wore fine clothes and jewelry.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm too assume your grandmother was not a nudist then?
DeleteNo, definitely not, more Joan Crowford. She came from a cultured family. the rest of my family is a group of hard-working hillbillies in overalls and jeans. My mother got disowned for running off with my dad and ended up a divorcee with two children who worked a diner job her whole life. What my grandmother better off marrying for wealth and status? Makes a young girl skeptical of the whole notion of "love."
DeleteOh my Joan Crawford?! Jim Crawford's one of my patrons Saints! I share some of the same qualities. Although I don't think I would beat children.
DeleteI see you're in a mood for a party with luxe dressing up and lots of glittery balls - aren't you always?!!
ReplyDeleteSx
By my calculations, MJ should be ready to host a fancy dress ball, no?
DeleteHappy holigays is genial
ReplyDeleteLove the mannequins.
ReplyDeleteSpeechless,
ReplyDeleteHow very glam it all is.
ReplyDeleteI want to live in your head. I adore those ornaments and all that Leigh Bowery-inspired fashion. And jewelry for tea? Truly inspired. Kizzes.
