Happy Monday to you all. How's the weather in your zip code lately?
As usual, the power struggle is real with the Snow Queen and the ascending sister of Spring. It's was a beautiful one here and to be in the 60's all this week, possibly 70's by the weeks end. After a wet, dark and windy one last week. Spring arrived the week before, but then disappeared again, only to reappear this weekend!!! What's going on spring??? Even though it's supposed to be warm and sunny, I have the feeling I may keep one or two winter coats out just in case. But I have bright views ahead and off to meet with a client today for freelance design work. In the meantime...let us temp Spring some more shall we?
My winter parka is still front and centre in the closet but the next few days promise beautiful weather.
ReplyDeleteSame here Mistress MJ. Best keep your muff handy too.
DeleteSuch pretty flowers grow in your garden! Where can I purchase the bulb which produces the one below the pink Peeps?
ReplyDeleteOMG you're going to drive poor Lurkie mad with that photo you slipped into the middle of the lineup!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is blazing here in London - and all the Spring flowers are scenting the air beautifully! Jx
ReplyDeletePS Love the - ahem - wallpaper in pic #6...
PPS We don't have zip codes, but my zip fly is doing OK, thanks.
We have tons of sun, but it's still a little cool for this hot house flower. Ill be glad when the heat arrives. Im glad the wallpaper was to your liking dear...I ordered you enough for four walls.
DeleteThat would be very nice up against ANY wall! Jx
Deletefull of soothing and natural colors, which relax and make you feel part of nature!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is out here in North Norfolk, too! However, there's a cool breeze coming off the sea which is keeping the temperatures down, unfortunately. Still, it's bright and colourful now that many of the Spring bulbs are in flower.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, YOU tall Drink of Water!!!!!!!!!!!
Delete🎈 🎉 🎂 🎈 🎉 🎈 ✨ 🎂 🎈 🎉 ✨ 🎂 🎈 🎉 ✨ 🎂 🎈 🎉
Adore Utica. My State Queen! Here? We carve them out of butter! (True. State Fair.) Color and mood are inexorably linked in our collective subconscious. Your thoughts are as lovely as the vessel they inhabit, my dear. Carry on. Love yourself. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteI love this collection...and the nod to the stunning Utica!!!! omg.....stunning!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch glorious images of spring.
ReplyDeleteUtica looks fabulous and, well, there's one photo in particular that has me pining hard for spring.
ALL DA PEEPS! and all the pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteMarshmallow peeps and bunnies... interesting way to get a sugar high.
ReplyDeleteOkay, the flowers are lovely, the bunny peeps are creepy but that bird! I love that bird! It looks like it's thinking about attacking the camera. Major attitude, there. Could just be its fabulous coloring. What is it? Yes, I'm ignoring the elephant in the room, and his trunk.
ReplyDeleteDeedles, I have no idea what kind of bird that is. but I recall it is from South America...of course...where all beautiful things seem to inhabit. It made me happy too.
DeleteI believe it's actually (appropriately enough) a "Splendid Fairy Wren" from Australia.
DeleteDifferent continent, lots of beautiful specimens, however. Think Hugh Jackman...
Jx
Oh splendid fairy wren, that does come back to me now. Figures it would be the continent with all the campy fairy drag queens too!!!! And Hugh!!!! I would like to see his "splendidness".
DeleteMy favorite Australian specimens: Hemsworth brothers (all three of 'em) and Julian McMahon.
DeleteHemsworth brothers, all three of them!!!! Someone has an appetite today!!!
DeleteI knew you had good taste girl! Cards on the table. When Nip Tuck was on, I had fantasies that Sean McNamara and Christian Troy would have gang banged me. Too much tmi? But I think I could try with all 3 Hemsworth brothers......
Love the colour palette. We have sunny spells here in Poshfordshire, the heating is off, the conservatory door is open and all the little dickie birds are singing in the trees.
ReplyDeleteCool, gray, and wet here in Oregon. Both this post and the one below are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat mood board...flowers so appropriate!!!! ...and that lad in the middle!!!!
ReplyDeleteWeather is warming here giving us a spring welcum, here in the SF area...the call to get out onto the hiking trail with the camera is coming loud and clear!!
It's nice to put a surprise and delight in the middle to wake you all up!
DeleteIt's glorious here, I bit chilly for my liking though.
Oh, no marshmallow PEEPS for me this year! But I don't think I've ever seen such a big egg (following the pink bunny peeps... for Easter. Is it filled with chocolate?
ReplyDeleteAnd somehow it is fitting with the fabulous Utica and marshmallow peeps in the same post.
ReplyDeleteGo on Utica Queen!
I love pink. And I love pink roses! I was watching some tutorial on youtube and someone was preserving them and they kept their color! I wish I had the patience.
ReplyDeleteNow, Utica looks absolutely fantastic in those pics (I almost skipped the naked man, but no). I have to go stalk her Insta to see what else she's up to. She's the most exciting queen this season, along with Symone and Gottmik. I live for their looks.
XOXO
Every week it seems I like your mood boards better. I can't pick just one. I find I can't wait to see the next, and it's makes me wondering if these picture are what your thinking about currently?
ReplyDeleteThey do actually reflect my mood and thought more often then not. I'm just very visual.
DeleteMistress between a sunny day and this post, the day has been a good one! You sure do know how to bring lovely happy pictures to brighten a mood. I'm so glad spring is coming. One day at a time right? And a huge thank you to all for the well wishes and condolences...they were very much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI almost missed this post!
ReplyDeleteI love it all😁
do they still make PEEPs I wonder? I will have to have a look-see.
ReplyDeleteThey are back out in limited amounts this year Spo!!!! Last year was the first time in years they weren't, because of the lockdown of COVID.
DeleteI love, love, LOVE the pink flowers!
ReplyDeleteWould you believe me if I told you it was a high of 66 today? We're also going to get rain overnight, which means Spo might get some of the wet weather tomorrow night unless it heads towards Las Vegas.
Gusty wind here, and the farmers are muck spreading - not a good combination.
ReplyDeleteLovely cheerful pics - thank you!
