NIGHT IMPRESSIONS

Yesterday here was mucky, dark, damp , windy and rainy. A perfect day to just relax. After some morning duties. I was glad to be home. Though spring is coming, I'm still enjoying my candle lit evenings. Most nights, it probably looks like Tangina Barrons is here trying to make contact with the other side to "clean the house". But I just love candles..one of my little pleasures. I must light about between 12 to 20 candles a night.  And it neat to see how candle light makes everything look so different.
While relaxing late last night, I noticed for the first time the cool impressions the floral branches make on the ceiling. It almost looked like it was wallpapered.

Doesn't seem to take much to impress me these days. Last night all it took was listening to jazz, a glass or two of pinot noir and watching the shadows dance.

  1. Shadow Dancing... aww, poor Andy. Your evening sounds lovely. I'm so happy, in a way, that you have had this opportunity to come home to yourself... and really sit with yourself. Being centered is a marvelous feeling... luxurious. And that's how your evening strikes me... as luxurious. Kizzes.

You are the one I am lit for. Come with your rod that twists and is a serpent. I am the bush. I am burning I am to be consumed.

License my roving hands, and let them go explore your body,
    Before, behind, between, above, below.

  17. Candlelight, dry white wine and bubblebaths do the trick for me too when I need to relax and recharge! Throw in some epsom salts and baking soda and any muscle soreness will vanish so you can get a good night's sleep... ; )

  18. That looks really calming. You're also reminding me I need to get some of those fake candles for the living room and bedroom when I move. As long as I have Torrie around there's no way I can have real ones.
