HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, to all my mother's who stop it and visit. The time getting out of the four walls has done me a world of good for a change of scenery...and it made my mother's weekend too. It's been just me and her against the world.
Yes....see...I was cute and a wee one once. That is my mother's favorite picture. Made her a full English breakfast today, then made her a lemon cake for dessert tonight.
I was also able to thin her hair, trim it. And styled it for her. She followed that up with and I quote. "Thank goodness I not only had a gay son, but one that does drag with hair knowledge!" And speaking of drag, another treat for her tonight....we' ll be watching Hedda Lettuce performing her mother's day show tonight on line. My mother is more excited then me.
Meanwhile he dog Lilleth was our stand in Little Edie today. I plan to potter in her garden this week a bit also before returning home.
So as I said to my dear mother today. Every great woman has at least one challenge in life. She either marry's it, or gives birth to it!!!!!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
Happiest of days to your Mom!

God I LOVE your Mom's Quote AND your Quote! I Married, Adopted and gave Birth to mine! The Trifecta of a Great Woman?! *LOL* We also are Grateful for all Mama's Boys, The Son has always been my Rock more than his Sisters and he doesn't mind being called a Mama's Boy. I'm very close to The Young Prince too, the Grandson could always give me Style and Make-Up Tips since he spends half his time as a Female. The Guys I can always depend on calling to make sure I'm Okay, it's definitely a Son/Grandson Thing... you all ROCK! I'm so Happy to hear you Treat your Mom so Well and have a Great Relationship. The one thing I always told my Daughters/Granddaughters/Gay Grandson is that when you're choose your Male Partner, for an indicator of how he's going to treat you, observe how he treats his own Mother... it's a fail safe way to pick out the Best Partners.
