Today the weather changed yet again... back to cold and very overcast. A lazy day. And emotional again. I started at very angry again...with news. Then into a calm and melancholic mood. The mood swings are very unusual for me. During this time, I too have learned I could just live on a huge breakfast and skip other meals. I love me a huge breakfast, or somedays, it might be just porridge or toast and fresh fruit. Today was an oink fest for sure and a movie viewing day. I also walked some letters over to the old post office, and thanked the postal lady there for working and bringing some sort of normalcy.. She seemed shocked. She said no one has said that to her yet. I may make some cookies and take to them soon, I think. I have many things on the horizon...so that will help the mood....which brings me to our 11th installment of some of your daily happy moments.

ReplyDeleteWe ain't shy boys!
DeleteThanks to everyone for sharing their happiness with you and to you for passing it on! I tell myself every morning, "Don't read the news right now. Don’t!" But, I do. And I crash. I keep telling myself these stories coming from DC and elsewhere can't be true. It's surreal, like an episode of Dr. Who or Game of Thrones... except with really stupid people in charge. But back to all the happy being shared... Madame Redfern's Battenberg is a masterpiece! And then there's The Lad, while we're on the subject of Master Pieces.
ReplyDeleteYes, when he's here I always give my compliments to the chief.
DeleteI can see why you and the Lad get along together now I believe. He is just so mischievous as you my dear. And I agree with Mitchell, that Battenberg cake is stunning!!!! And Christina's birds are stunning. Cello Josh's cello!!!! This most definitely made me happy on the most dreary day.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Hershey in years! I had forgotten about the light poles there. These all made me happy. Those birds from Christina are amazing, and Jessika..is that a fox!?!?! Welcome sights for a rainy day.
ReplyDeleteYES! Jessika is a friend of mine who has rescued three fox from death and fur mills. She has a very popular Instagram called Juniper Fox that follows the three fox, Juniper, Fig and Elmwood. She rescues all sorts of animals. We need more like her.
Deletecello josh, the ducks, agnes's pretty tables, the puppies, and DAT ASS!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Bev's lego's!!!!!! That would make me happy too. What are we going to do with the Lad??? Not that I'm complaining about that view. The flowers and animals can always make me happy.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are all fun and fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI’m scrolling down and THAT BUTT.
ReplyDeleteBut loving the pics! I love me a well-set table! And cake. Never forget cake.
Glad you’re back to your usual self. And don’t worry we’re all mercurial these days...
XoXo
Mmmmm…….cake. And buns! Ha! Both look equally YUM!
ReplyDeleteYes...he gets cheeky at times!
DeleteMy. what nice cakes!
ReplyDeleteYou took my line.
DeleteAnother much needed post today. We too are in a rainy, dreary day. With the start of the yellow vine flowers of magpie, each grabbed me more and more on the way down. And I haven't seen a Battenberg cake in years!!!
ReplyDeleteEverybody's happy is making me melancholy for some reason. Weird, huh?
ReplyDeleteMe too. The made me happy, but Im in a funk today for sure for some reason.
DeleteI do think the lad's doing half naked Yoga
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's what he calls it when he's on the bottom too!
DeleteAll happy pictures!!!! Are we too assume the Lad saw Danny's pictures? BWAHAHAHA . Love Preston's New York pictures in these post. Seems weird still to see New York so empty. I hope your mood will cheer up as the week goes on Mistress.
ReplyDeleteSuch So Nice!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan we make those hot cross buns from the lad? And the rescued fox is adorable. And some side-eye from Little Lupe?
ReplyDeleteIf you met Hedda, you'd give her the side eye too.
DeleteBeing a dog person, these cute pups all made my night. And that is pretty funny the street lamps in Hershey look like kisses! Hard to believe we have been home this long already.
ReplyDeleteMistress, very nice Buns indeed... you take Great Selfies! *Winks*
ReplyDeleteThat fox is cool as hell!!!! All these pictures made me happy. I could see that cake being served at Ms. Agnes's table even. But as for the other cakes...when you done with the Lad, Id take him off your hands you know? That would make me very happy.
ReplyDeleteYour always quick to lend a hand Cali Boi.
DeleteRelax, unwind and get naked was all I did today. That made me happy.
ReplyDeleteAll happy and beautiful pictures again.
How does one wangle an invitation to tea at Agnes Goldberg-DeWoof's? The cake. The china. The opulent ambiance!
ReplyDeleteMore lad, and cakes, less news.
ReplyDeleteI really do love them all. I hope this feature continues.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know I could send another. Well, then....
ReplyDeleteAll the puppies and bird made me happy yet again. Lupe gives good face.
ReplyDeleteWhen ever I see either of your asses, it's a good day! It's a staple around here really.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures everyone.
