A Happy Memorial Day to all!
My good friends Doug and Jamie, who did the lovely nude artwork I sat for a couple years ago, called with a offer to spend the holiday in Rehoboth Beach. I hadn't seen them since their move right before the pandemic hit to from New Hope to Rehoboth. A great chance to catch up and have fun. Never have I welcomed in Memorial at the beach...and it was great to get back to Rehoboth Beach after a nearly three-year hiatus. What a welcoming home and I had never seen honeysuckle on the beach before. Right behind their home. Sea mist and honeysuckle. And the sand under one's feet. What a way to welcome in summer! And let's remember to keep those pass veterans and current serviceman and ladies in our minds all the year through. Hope your all having a nice weekend....back on Wednesday.
What a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteLove that beach image:) So cool:) And what nice sexy gams you have!
ReplyDeleteKisses ...Happy Memorial Day

ReplyDeleteI never cease to marvel at the beauty in your life.
ReplyDeleteThat's your view this weekend? Okay kids! Blog get together at the Mistress's friends house!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday and Memorial Day to all!
Beautiful!!!!! And in my future part of the woods!!! Lovely views! Our beach house I'm moving into also has honeysuckle on the one side. No idea where it came from and had no idea it even grew in sandy soil. But it smells heavenly. I'll be going down next weekend to start readying the house there for my permeant move in. Downsizing has been hell.
ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day to all and especially our Veterans.
Sounds idyllic! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for getting away! I haven't been to Rehoboth for at least 5 years now. Look at those beach gams!!! Happy Memorial Day.
ReplyDeleteI worked. It was nice and quiet.
ReplyDeleteAh, so that's where the sunshine went. It's cloudy and sprinkling over here, not exactly the best weather to celebrate in the outdoors. Have fun!

DeleteYes, please. I want to be covered in sand and sea salt, and those hairy legs!!! I didn't get to beach yet last year.... I need to this summer for sure. I will die soon if I don't. Even if it's the Jersey shore! (gasp) I just need some ocean calm and soothing surf sounds..
ReplyDeleteHope the Memorial was a good one. I'd say yes it was.
I love your beach pics! They look so much better than the crowded UK beaches.

Oh don't let that deceive Ms Scarlett. My friend's home is right on the line where the private and public beach meet. Rehoboth gets a huge gay crowd and they're part of the beach is called poodle Beach. And let me tell you it was mobbed.

ReplyDeleteOh, to be where you are.... Hope you had a terrific time.
ReplyDeleteYOU so have the right kind of friends, my dear. Very jell. Great pics, too... love the gams. Glad you got away and enjoyed the sky. I gardened. Well, what passes for gardening by moi. Hostas, Irises, and ferns. Strawberry plants and raspberry bushes. Well... you know me. I love digging in the dirt. Kizzes.
