"I cannot endure to waste anything so precious as autumnal sunshine by staying in the house."

Here here, I couldn't agree more. Enjoy the outdoors now before we can't.
Couldn't resist the white Citroen, reminds me so much of my grandfathers.
Wonderful images!
ReplyDelete"Coffee, because murder is wrong." HAHAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteI have the feeling that may show up on your blog!!!!! Bwahahahahaha
DeleteA man that lived next to us had a Citroen just like that. It sat, unloved in his front drive for the best part of twenty years. It had four flat tyres. One day a chap knocked on my door and asked if I knew it my neighbour would be interested in selling it. He'd knocked on neighbours door but no response. I told him to write his number down and I would give it to my neighbour.
ReplyDeleteTurns out, the neighbour said he could buy it. They brought a low loader, pumped the tyres up, tried the ignition and it started first time! Unbelievable.
I loved the coffee meme. Perfect!
That is an amazing story, Christina!!!! My grandfather bought one from a friend of his who had come here from Europe with one, but then for some reason sold it to my grandfather. I loved that car, back when cars had style. When he passed, my mother's brother took the car but never used it. Upon his death I have no idea what had happened to it. You know if I had it, I would be driving it...at least on weekends. They were very rare to see here. They are so well built, and built to last. Hence your story.
DeleteI love the colors of fall, and black cats with attitude. I could see Torrie sitting there with a cup of coffee. She's got quite the murder face when she wants to flash it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know I think that face your sport right now is murder!
DeleteA very European entry. Nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and beautiful men. Meow. Gather ye fallen leaves while ye may. I love the dog yawning with a cuppa joe in front of him.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I love that picture too Janie. That was short represented me at least for the first half of the day.
DeleteBeautiful pictures
ReplyDeleteYour grandfather has a vintage Citroen?!?!?! I adore them! Did you ever get to ride in it? This mood board was a spectacular mood board...and many of these pictures fit my mood today too at some point. Especially that dog yawn waiting for coffee.
ReplyDeleteYes I miss he did have one. When he passed on my mother's brother from Ohio took it. When I was young I remember having about three or four rides in it. But towards the end of his life it pretty much just sat for 5 years.
DeleteHey bitch heeeyyyy....!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that Citröen! OMG That car!
And those men!
And that car!
XOXO
Yes, David Ortega and his cakes certainly are a nice feature on a Monday
DeleteNothing like Monday foliage, cakes and coffee!
ReplyDeleteI said it once, Ill say it again...you reek of good taste and style! These pictures I feel really represent yourself and things you like. You have got a good eye. LOVED this board. And your fun side...those cakes on David.....MY!
ReplyDeleteAh, I had a sleepy and dreamy weekend. All the leaves are brown and the sky is grey. I was suppose to for a walk... but, sigh. Now... those men in among all that those fall colors. Well, the bring color to my cheeks, sweet thing. Guess which ones?
ReplyDeleteI had the most relaxing weekend myself but I only entail one walk with Buster and Lily. And yes the leaves. Now I think there's two feet of them!
DeleteTundra Bunny here... Another superb mood board, Mistress Maddie -- the house in the first photo looks like a little Swiss chalet! At least you're not buried under 3 feet of snow with more on the way tonight like the Canadian prairies.... And that dog is soooo me until I get my first cup of coffee in the morning, LOL!
ReplyDeleteSnow! With more on the way? Are you poor things I don't know how you do it so early in the season. But I agree I'm much like that dog also before I get my first cup.
DeleteI think the Citroen is in England judging by the parking sign, and the front doors. Anyhow, with this mood board you are spoiling us!
ReplyDeleteSx
Yes I'm pretty sure that's England. I think that was land of the Citroen, or was it France? But like I was telling Christina I would love to know what happened to my grandfather's.
DeleteI always wanted a Citroen like that... and now I want a roll in the hay.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree, and rolling the hay with those cakes wouldn't be bad. I fell in love with that Citron when my grandfather had one. The details were in my comment back to Christina. I had about three rides in it and it rode so smooth yet so unusual. They were so roomy inside too. Of course I might have just been my memory since I was a little wee one. I always loved the style of them.
DeleteI liked the cat
