GIVING THANKS

"Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."-Marcel Proust

Buster..hearing there will be turkey.
Lilith guarding the back door, to ensure no one takes the dinner.
My visiting cousin and their dog, Jefferson.

Let the holiday find us thankful and grateful for what we have, and not what we don't have. I'm truly thankful for all my family and friends, and my blog friends included. Your visits and comments often make my day, and I so enjoy them and your emails. They often tickle me.

  7. I wish all Americans would read that quote today. We take far too much for granted. As I observe the Thanksgiving holiday, I want you to know that I am very thankful to have you as a friend.

Who knew that a furry little rump roast named Buster could bring joy to so many? I love his happy, smiling face! Happy Thanksgiving to you, Buster, Lilith and the rest of your clan!

  13. The one US holiday I miss the most!!! Some years I will still do the whole dinner here if the mood strikes. I wonder now is your whole household passed out from the Tryptophan?

What pretty pooches, one and all. They weren't missing their portions, I'm sure.

  21. Buster looks the same as Franklin and Penelope when the turkey is carved. They open their mouths and wait for some morsels to be dropped in.
