....one with the furniture.
There looks. It's called fashion dolllling.
The Duchess Deedles Red Allure Collection
I myself am feeling the Cuckoo clock, for obvious reasons, but not sure how I will get a wrap on, and it sure wouldn't be the first time I wore a lampshade on my head from the other.
From the minds of Moschino.
Ohh Moschino is camp and fun.
ReplyDeleteI love me some Jeremy Scott, btw.
XOXO
With my fat ass and hips, I should be a shoe in for the second one down.
ReplyDeleteThat bird cage reminds me of a time I was trapped in a cage... I danced my little white vinyl go-go boots off until the soles were gone. Still, a little Vaseline, and they shined like a diamond. Vaseline... comes in handy (so to speak.) Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteTHIS would make for an excellent challenge on Drag Race, no?
ReplyDeleteHow fun!!!!! And such creativity. Back in the day I would have gladly worn the chandelier dress or the lampshade ensemble myself. I think Deedles will love that red. It would make an excellent flock for the opera I do believe.
ReplyDeleteMs Agnes, I was trying to figure out which one is the chandelier dress. I looked again and found it. As I was skimming (pre-coffee) past, I thought the chandeliers were flamboyantly gay anchors! Dark roast fixed that eye problem! You're right, I adore the red.
DeleteHow fun! Moschino is such a fun design house.
ReplyDeleteYaassss henny! It IS CALLED fashion Dollllling!
ReplyDeleteI, myself, prefer the desk lamp. The light brings out my baby blues.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I do like that red dress! Tacky me would probably glue a teeny doll to that tiny chair. That modern Hannibal Lector/ birdcage thingy is kind of cute too.
ReplyDeleteI saw that red and had to include it! You'd be sharrrrrrrp in that girl!
DeleteVery cool! My faves are the harp and the grandfather clock!
ReplyDeleteI love the last photo. Wearable ART!
ReplyDeleteI do believe this sort of thing was trendy back in the 'roaring 20's.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing. We need to chip in and buy that red ensemble for Deedles. I want either the harp or, probably more appropriately, the cuckoo clocks. Then again, the classical painting and the lamp is pretty classy. I love these!
ReplyDeleteWasn't it Jeff Koons who made furniture out of women, rather that women wearing furniture?
ReplyDeleteI think I'll just stick to the balloon dog sculptures myself.
DeleteVery creative.
ReplyDeleteStunning! Jx
ReplyDeleteyou sure you don't want to be the grandfather clock? goodness knows you have the pendulum to swing for it.
ReplyDeletesome parts of him rather do resemble a grandfather clock, especially the pendulum!
DeleteThe shoulder clocks and my hips would finally honor my hourglass figure! Ah, sweetpea, you know how to bring a smile to my face! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWho needs shoulder pads, when you can have shoulder clocks?
DeleteAs cool and over the top as they are, I would totally wear the chandelier print dress! It's stunning.
ReplyDeleteVery beauty and the beast...the haute couture version.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love Moschino. But this is a whole other level of camp.
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous ... that harp gown is Met Ball worthy!
ReplyDeleteBob, you darn well know if that was at the Met Ball, Anna Wintour would have one commissioned that someone could wear AND PLAY!
DeleteThis is a good case of "You don't make furniture, the furniture makes you!" I too wouldn't mind the cuckoo clock, seeing I'm as about as cuckoo as one can get.
ReplyDeleteI think it's just the bird we like.
DeleteIn love with everything including Jermery Scott. He's too adorable. I just love the brown armchair ensemble. I have seen other pieces from the collection. What a fun line up it was.
ReplyDeleteWhen we meet for lunch, what color lampshade will I want to look for?
ReplyDeleteNot the color...more like the size dear!
DeleteThat Red Ensemble... Swoonfest!
ReplyDeleteLove the 7th one! Talk about giving shade!
ReplyDeleteGOREGOUS! But the red one? Talk about a front row seat!!!
ReplyDeleteI see you in more of a cuckoo-clock-as-belt-buckle ensemble, Mistress. That way, you can really surprise guests at your next cuckoo-tail party, LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, don't give me any ideas Tundra!
