Oh, clever. I like clever. Thank you for celebrating PRIDE! How spirited. Such talented performers. The art of drag photography has certainly come a long way. So vibrant they almost jump off the page. Have a lovely. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteI have one thing to say............YOOOOOOOOOOOU BETTER WURK !
ReplyDeleteThere's a rainbow!
ReplyDeleteImpeccable! So, here's what may seem a very dumb question --- but I seriously don't know: How do some of the queens come up with these names?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post and a curve to learning the colors and meaning. I saw a flag once with black and brown stripe and learned it represented the brown and black communities. And never knew about the pink or light blue or turquoise?
ReplyDeleteI also wonder if Kahmora would mind if I borrowed that ensemble? That is SO me! I used to wear stuff like that. Maybe I should have been a drag queen?
And I bet you'd be fabulous in it too!!!!
DeleteAnd what a tasteful rainbow it is henny! Work those colors bitches!
ReplyDeleteHeading to NYC for the first time girl in a year and half for some Pride festivities. Lower key still, but will be fun to get out and see us freaks! Twirl it girl!!!!!!!!
Have a great time in NYC for Pride....and yes...spin and twirl girl!
Delete❤๐๐๐๐๐
Never been a fan of Aquaria, but god damn can that queen pull a look.
ReplyDeleteAnd Art Simone always leaves my jaw of the floor. Always! Did you see her finale look on Drag Race Down Under!!!!!! And off topic...how fast did the show go? Again the US version needs to be shorter....too drawn out.
Same. Aquaria may be one of the most beautiful but devoid of any personality of all the Ru girls. She looks pretty, though. That's undeniable.
DeleteXOXO
The Down Under was amazing!!!! And your right Art's look was magical. I can't believe she only won one challenge.
DeleteAbsolutely FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteFab.
ReplyDeleteLove the interpretations. I'm googling Marcus Massalami as I type!
XOXO
A fierce drag king!
DeleteWhat a lovely rainbow!
ReplyDeleteArt Simone-Sunlight's sunshine turban cum ice-cream hat is an amazing piece of kitsch
ReplyDeleteHelen, how do you go about making cum ice cream? I should have resisted, but this made me giggle.
DeleteThis is all fabulous, but now I have a craving for a ginormous bag of Skittles! There's a diabetic coma out there with my name on it.
ReplyDeleteYou like such color.....your drag name could have been Skittles McGee!
DeleteI don't think so, Mads. Sounds like I would be playing a washboard in a jug band in the 1920s. I think I like Etta Sammich better, but what do I know about such things?
DeleteI can give you a pan flute to play!
DeleteLove those colors. They appeal to your artistic sense, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
VERY MUCH...especially Art. She totally embraces color.
DeleteNow that’s a rainbow! I want to taste Art Simone’s wig.
ReplyDeleteArt Simone is in my top list of queens for hair and wigs. Never not flawless....always memorable. Love her over all style.
DeleteI real like Art Simmone-sunlight hat. All are dress colorful, and I love color it so much fun to play and explore with. I been the rules when it comes to color
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
I always like when you do your Pride posts mixed with drag queens in the rainbow colors. It's always so happy and appropriate. They are all stunning. But Art's make up????!!?!?!?! AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lotta Colorful Talent up in there!
