Here we are then at the 19th installment of this series. Who knew we'd still be in this pandemic this long? Looks like we too, still have those little things or big things that make us happy in these trying times. With the funeral march totals going up, we need some happy. A couple days ago, I witnessed a neighbor coming out on a gurney, sadly, completely sheet covered. It's real when you witness that. I didn't know them, but felt sorry for their family who would probably learn of their fate later that day. And just today one of New Hopes notable characters, Jim M, I learned has also succumbed. He was in his late 80's and one couldn't be in New Hope without seeing him always walking his dog, or at a pub or eatery , regaling stories of past yore in the town. I have taken to only going out once every two weeks again, now for food provisions and the goods at the market. People, who aren't even going out, or seeing anyone, seem to be getting the virus, and are getting them from contaminated objects entering the home. That was the case of my two friends who both passed from covid. So make sure your washing and wiping off what you can.

DeleteBandit's Human... Wow! *winks* I am so sorry to hear of Neighbors succumbing, it's happening with regular frequency here, how many we see having Funerals at the Cemetery near our new Home, which is just down the Street. There are now several Funerals every single Day, it's a huge Cemetery but at this rate will fill up quickly! All the Fur Babies made me Smile, we're adjusting to not having one for the first time ever, it feels strange.
ReplyDeleteFunny all these months you know it's here, but then BAM! you know people who died and see bodies leaving and then it takes you to another level. My mother thankfully has gotten her second vaccine now I just heard. Thank goodness.
Delete😁😁😁😁
DeleteThanks for the uplifting pictures!

DeleteLots of nice pictures, I should send you some.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so lovely! Thanks to all! Now I must say, the Max Goldberg faces made me crack up. Is he related to Agnes? And oddly, Buster's feet make me happy. Do they smell like corn chips?
ReplyDeleteAnd Hazard, if you get tied of hugging that irresistible dog, how do you feel about wrapping those arms around a drag queen?
Dear Norma, I don't know whether he is part of the Philly Goldberg's are not! hoe funny I missed that.
DeleteI think Max might be a distant DISTANT relation???
DeleteAnd he does give good face!
Yes Norma, his feet do smell like corn chips!!!!!!
DeleteI love my queens. I hug you any day.
Deletei miss getting a good facial.

How very lovely. Adore your pup. Such a cutie. And Bob's cat... someone Andy Warhol those shots. And Hazard... sigh. Ummm... his dog. I mean his little Bandit. What? Oh, no... I would never objectify someone so handsome and with such large, bulging muscles and a smile for days... whaaa? What? There were other pictures? Oh, yes... the other pictures. - This is a really nice feature. Adore. Thank you for putting it all together... And Pam... Pam steals the show. I mean, she has to put it back... but no, she stole it... you know she did. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteYou best take a shot of something...your all worked up...
DeleteUptonking....😜😝😛😘
DeleteI too love these post! I always love seeing what makes everyone so happy in these dismal days. And it same cases it can be as something as seeing out little fur ones , food, and in some cases a cocktail. And the eyes of Max Goldebrg...those are some dilated pupils, lol
ReplyDeleteI have to hide your blog from Tuxedo since MaxGoldberg made a solo appearance!!
ReplyDeleteThese all made me happy! As for your final "shot": As my English niece always asks her sons before they go out in the sun, "Did you cream your face?"
ReplyDeleteBandit is one lucky dog!
ReplyDeleteIm lucky to have him Kirk
DeleteYou're beautiful. You know this. But that mask is not doing anything for your skin. Let me give you a Mark Greene exclusive facial. Guuurl your face will warm up with a tingling and refreshing sensation beyond belief ! Call me. I'll hook you up !
ReplyDeleteI seem to see a tremendous double meaning in your words, Mark!

ReplyDeleteLoved all the pics. That house in Filter Square is fab.
So sorry about the people who have passed due to COVID. Damn virus. Staying in really is a need these days. And washing our hands!!
Now I want pizza. Well, that or checking out Bandit's human. I could use a facial too!
XOXO
Puppies!
ReplyDeleteLove this series. I hope it continues even after this damn virus is over and done. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post; it made me smile.
ReplyDeleteWell, hell, I could have given you a facial. All these dogs and cats have melted me today in this blistering, windy cold.
ReplyDeleteYes...it's nice to see what makes us happy in these times. I love a nice brick rowhome like the Buck Boys have. And that view of Philly is beautiful. Buster's feet did indeed my me laugh, he is always laying about so cute. And then there that cat, Max!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, once you know someone who died of covid or witness the bodies leaving a house, it becomes really real.
I'd gladly share my pizza!!! And those flowers make me wants some, is that place of the Capital Street Duo in Philly? Yes to the Philly peeps! Yes to coffee and I now want to pile up with all the cute critters here....including Hazard! Come to mama!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Mistress. The more trips out only increases chances of getting something. The rates right now are insane. Im not old, but I too only go out once every two weeks now. And I'm not looking for work till this passes. But these pictures are a highlight of the day! They all made me happy.
ReplyDeleteAnother great collection! I love the Dogwood sculpture from Josvad. Where is that at?
ReplyDeleteAnd Buster is too cute. Now we need a group picture of all the pets together!
Thank you for the happy moments, we really need to take note of them when we find them.
ReplyDeleteSx
Like your craft for instance!!!!
DeleteSo many wonders...thanks for these happy moments all!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Agnes’ table...hope all is on the mend
Capitol street duo colors would brighten any day
RJK - yes!!!
...and Pam Demic!!!
I liked the pizza the most.
ReplyDeleteMmmm... Yes, I could just eat that pizza - but I'd have to pick the mushrooms off first.
ReplyDeleteSo many happy moments! The birds (CORMORANT! Or is it a shag?), Bandit and those Big Arms (oh, for a hug from Hazard), blooms in vases, breakfast with Agnes - but Buster's bunny feet take the biscuit!
I too would like a few hugs from Hazard i think. Maybe we should have a Hazard Hug Day here?
DeleteBusters feet always crack me up. He is one of those dogs that I believe tries to look cute when he sleeps so people can go "Awwwww look how cute he sleeps."
Once the pandemic is over ill give everybody hugs.
DeleteHow did I miss this??? Great pictures from everybody!
