This brings us to our 20th installment of a batch of Happy Moments pictures from you all of things that make us happy in our day. When I launched this series during the pandemic, I thought it would be fun to do... to take our minds off the doom and gloom going around, and cheer us up from sad news , that many of us received from passed on loved ones, and being stuck inside. I know some of my visitors lost loved ones...friends, spouses, partners, lovers, neighbors. And you all seem to have really liked it!!! This is the last batch of pictures to come in, and boy there were some nice ones. This will be the last post in this series till I receive more. Send a pic submission to mistressborghese@yahoo.com. Dame Micaux kicked this off with her pussies, Cleo and Anthony above.

Duchess Deedles
This week, two days, two things made me happy. One was a double happy. Our very own Duchess Deedles was happy with a care package I sent to her of Mexican Chocolate Spice Cookies....and her own pair of original Pam Demic gloves from the Pam Demic Collection. But then she sent this and it beyond made me happy and give me a good laugh!!!!!!! What a hoot...and the tee shirt was what really got me! I love that woman!
My second happy moment came from Mistress Maddie #1 Fan. Bunny has many new events going on in the big city.... but with me only just getting my second vaccine, I can't go up to the city just yet. So MM#1 was kind enough to go all the way into Manhattan from Brooklyn for little ole me to get some pictures of the cow and I even hooked them up. And luckily the old heffer ran with it! Or more like a huge ham.
Even a video he sent me, which I had a hell of a time getting from a text message. I sure missed the city and that bitches antics. I just bet she cut the ribbons too, to reopen the glory holes.
Here we are then at the 19th installment of this series. Who knew we'd still be in this pandemic this long? Looks like we too, still have those little things or big things that make us happy in these trying times. With the funeral march totals going up, we need some happy. A couple days ago, I witnessed a neighbor coming out on a gurney, sadly, completely sheet covered. It's real when you witness that. I didn't know them, but felt sorry for their family who would probably learn of their fate later that day. And just today one of New Hopes notable characters, Jim M, I learned has also succumbed. He was in his late 80's and one couldn't be in New Hope without seeing him always walking his dog, or at a pub or eatery , regaling stories of past yore in the town. I have taken to only going out once every two weeks again, now for food provisions and the goods at the market. People, who aren't even going out, or seeing anyone, seem to be getting the virus, and are getting them from contaminated objects entering the home. That was the case of my two friends who both passed from covid. So make sure your washing and wiping off what you can.
What a beautiful, inspiring day yesterday was. I dare even say, it was the most beautiful inauguration I've witnessed. A weight lifted, and much anger has left me. What I enjoyed the most , was that many of the people who have restored my faith in the country and politics in general, were altogether in one place. The President and First Lady, Joe and Jill Biden, Madame Vice-President Kamala Harris, President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Senator Amy Klobuchar. I have no problem admitting my bi partisan tendencies...and even loved seeing President George W and Laura Bush there. And while I was by no means a fan or even liked Mike Pence, puke, I was at least glad he had balls enough to come and give some sort of tradition to past along while his mob boss ran away like a little baby. But did anyone really want the dump there? If he did watch the news, Ill bet he shit himself. And it's why I adore Joe Biden. He even said we can't look at everything as them and us , red and blue. If we don't change our way of thinking, this isn't going to work. So today, I feature this post, a post of my favorite moments that got me and blew me away. I want to look back one day and see this post and remember the feeling. It was a glorious day. I had asked my neighbor, the lumbersexual if he wanted to come over and watch together, I made a great roast beef dinner and Yorkshire pudding and we had copious amounts of Pinot Noir in celebration.
Yep ...a gay guy and a straight guy? hopefully watching the unfolding of the back to normal , but new and improved United States. I even got a good chuckle when Briden asked "Why is JLo there?" I told him, "My mother told me, if you don't have anything nice to say, come sit by me."
Come on...how do you NOT love Bernie's mailman look?!?!
One on my favorite songs. It was perfect for the day.
