I've missed your Monday posts...always among my favorite. This set speaks volumes to me. Im intrigued by your dark side as much as your Snow White side.
It can be fun being evil, it may as well live here!!!! But I have to keep it and my darl side in check...otherwise my mouth would really get me in trouble.
OHHHH what an interesting and sort of noir post. And you know I love me some Dee-lite.The mass public could never understand or handle this level of concentrated coolness, it has to be watered down first. Now go on with your dark self gurl.
This the first time I've ever heard a song by Deee-lite that WASN'T Groove is in the heart. That song made me happy. As for the building in DC....IF ONLY.
I love the set too, even thought it sends a message. I can understand your disheartened self over humans. We made the bed, now we can sleep in it.
I also love that song. I google them and had no idea Dee-Lite had more songs. Everyone only seems to know Grooves in the Heart. Love their musical vibe.
I like Grooves...but their assortment was so much more that that song. Honey, I have every cd they released. And little know fact...that space alien in the silver suit along the road is none other then Mathu Anderson!!!!!
...fun post...nice Paris (?) scene...love the saucer over the classic 1960s home (kid not buckled in of course)! ...closed minds quote is so so appropriate to these times...sigh...
"if only closed minds came with closed mouths" - GAYmen! c'mon, virus, shut the rethugs and the scamvangelists the fuck up! permanently!
ReplyDeleteand audrey hepburn and a gin ad in the same post - happy! :)
Don't expect me to shead a damn tear...this virus is only starting up...and I read that in china it's starting a slow break out all over again.
DeleteSimply beautiful! 💜
ReplyDeleteAnd love that GIF from that 90's movie... Mars Attacks or somethin' like that.
Years ago I saw the Mistress do the Martian lady from Mars Attacks in a show...brought the house down.
DeleteI quite like the "fall-out" just after the build your own fallout shelters advert. Oh, and Lady Miss Kier! Of course... Jx

ReplyDeleteI love you, whether your being bright and sunny, or dark and evil. I too love this set. But I see your getting low on sarcastic venom....
ReplyDeleteI need the fall-out shelter, the nekkid guy, and, well, yeah, the gin.
ReplyDelete(((Mads))). Remember, evil spelled backward is live!

DeleteOnly your mouth?
DeleteWhat a great line-up, Mistress! "Hard times call for hard liquor," indeed!

ReplyDeleteLove this selection...and I love Dee-Lite. Talk about being born too late. If that's what goes on in your head, I want in!

Mars Attacks! Yes
ReplyDeleteAnd I’d like him to come into my bunker, that’s for sure!
XoXo
I think you meant to say "And I’d like him to cum in my bunker"
DeleteOne before the other, Anne Marie.
DeleteAn absolute Dee-lite.
ReplyDelete"Mars Attacks" was great, "Earth Vs Flying Saucers" better, and who's the naked guy leaning on his knee? That's the best.
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice the knee, LOL!
DeleteLove the dark feel to these. I ready to be beamed up myself. And the Deelite song is very infectious.
ReplyDeleteVery dark Maddie..but I too love Mars Attacks! I remember your video from when Moorecock filmed it.
ReplyDeleteI love the theme of this post, and it's always nice to see St. Audrey once in awhile.
ReplyDeleteA great collection. Love sci-fi and a good hard...(insert your choice here). And please deliver that young man with my build-your-own fallout shelter.
ReplyDeleteThat saucer...it's hitting the McConnell office, right? Because they know he's in there, right? LOL. Fun stuff! Hugs!
