I tell you, the weather makes the biggest difference during this pandemic. Today was the first...grab yourselves...that the Mistress went back into public for the first time to the market and grocery in 46 days, but more on that later. Since I was feeling pretty happy and gleeful today , a good day for a first in a while ...I decided to make sure I was ready and catch the brief glimpse of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels fly over Philadelphia, Bucks County and then into New Jersey, and off to NY, as a salute to essential health and medical workers during the coronavirus pandemic. I can't lie, that was a pretty happy and neat thing to see today. My one lone picture I managed to get. Feast you eyes on our next edition of Happy Moments from you all! Pictures can be sent to mistressborghese@yahoo.com

And I would love to have that wall hanging Erik made! That is incredible....You got some talent boy!!!!!!! I am so happy now...keep these going Mistress
ReplyDeletevery happy pictures. but mistress your personal assistant lays down on the job more than me.
ReplyDeletebut you are always on your back, or on all fours. buster gets the sun patches.
DeleteI like how Ursula displays her art collection!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Some bought and some mine own. I am running out of walls, hence the propping up of art.
DeleteAs usual, the table decor of Agnes Goldberg-DeWoofs slays.
ReplyDeleteI know right? I want to just sit there.
DeleteAnother great post! I sure hope Josavad and Dave had room to relax with those dogs taking up space. And how's bout that Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels show? That was pretty cool to see down here in the city. Touching really.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to have seen that from downtown!!!!!
DeleteThese always bring a smile to my face. Your followers are amazing people. And it’s not often the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels fly together. Quite a sight.
ReplyDeleteI was quite loud, louder than I thought it would be. But it was here and gone overhead like that.
Deletegreat pix of the flyover, dear. I would like to know how erik created his artwork. agnes has lovely roses and strawberries for her tea time table. mitchell & jerry - always hanky-panky with those 2! ursula's art wall and chhicago's empty streets.
ReplyDeleteI went to the market today for my weekly shopping trip. STILL no damn paper products!
Hell, this was my first time out in 46 days!!!!!! I had many anxieties till I got there...I have a post coming about it. Both places I was had not a a stich of paper goods, cleaning supplies or flour and sugar....not that I needed any, but just for your FYI. I shouldn't have to go back out now again for another couple weeks. Today was quite enough.
DeleteI did find cleaning supplies (no bleach), flour, and sugar at my weis market. no anxieties for me, just walk right in and get to shopping.
DeleteI can understand where the Mistress is coming from. I don't want to be around anyone. Thank goodness the old people shopping hors are there, it curbs to many people, but when that ends.....
DeleteMust have been fun to see the
ReplyDeletejet salute. And enjoyed everyone's
special moments.
Take care. xoxo :-)
Another great moment, or should say moments!!!! I can only imagine that airshow, how great in this? The dogs in this post are taking my heart as is Mitchell's pictures of his loves. I sure hope you survived your time out at the store. I look forward to your write up.

DeleteThat art collection is a joy. I would spend hours... days... enjoying that... and dusting it!
Yeah, the dusting......
DeleteOh man, these are all so great again. I have to send in another one. The is totally awesome that the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels did a show together...that is very rare. Of course I see Buster like the sun like his Mistress. I assume you survived your ordeal?
ReplyDeleteH-A-P-P-Y! The Thunderbirds?
ReplyDeleteWas Lady Penelope present with Parker?
Love them all! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you yet again for collecting these and sharing them. They always make my day better. And thanks for including me. My photo from 1956 brought tears to my eyes today. But at the same time, it makes me happy. I always felt so safe. I don't know where to begin with all the other photos. So many heartwarming shots. But Erik's knit work is phenomenal. Pure brilliance. Wow. Wow. Wow.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Hope your outing didn't cause you much stress, and that it cheered you up ... and that you sang in the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteYou don't want to hear my sing.
DeleteOh, I would love to hear you sing... even if it's only for a good laugh.
DeleteLove the pics!
ReplyDeleteI saw somebody's IG story showing the planes. Very cool.
And glad you went out! It's good to do it once in a while to shake the cobwebs.
I love, love, LOVE! Erik's and Ursula's photos! Fantastic.
XOXO
You really should get out more! Great collection of happy moments this morning. The sun is out here for the first time in a week or more, I need to take a short drive.
ReplyDeleteAfter the shopping I did indeed take a nice drive around the backroads, which around here is very tranquil and peaceful. I do get out to take nice long walks most days... but this was the first time in 46 days I hadn't been in a store or near people.
DeleteMore great stuff! I'd be curled up right alongside Buster! Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteA picture of a dog or cat is gonna make me instantly happy, but these characters all have such expression!!!!!! And can you blame Buster, the sun feels good. This warm me up, I just can't seem to fell 100% this spring.
ReplyDelete...great happy moments...particularly love Agnes’ flowers...incredible!
ReplyDeleteSo many happy things to see again. I loved seeing that server on the street writing in chalk and the Dave's dogs! Made me laugh to see the one with it's head against the others rump. And Jan's pictures is striking. I also enjoyed that picture of Mitchell and his partner in Norway.
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's Buster!
These are all so nice to see. I remember that Floralis Generica from your trip posts. I love that thing. That would be nice to see one day.
ReplyDeleteI finally got around to taking some pictures, Ill send a few in. It's neat to see what makes us all happy on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteOH so much more enlightening than listening to the news !!!!!
ReplyDeleteYep thee all made me happy for sure! It's nice to have places to go to take our minds off things or a few laughs. You do both well.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY LOVELY LOVELY! The homes in Agnes's hood look like nice, old, well built homes! I always enjoy her tables too, isn't it odd a table setting makes us all happy? And bravo for all the doggies. Keep the post coming.
ReplyDeleteEveryone will be happy to know, the cupcakes were gone in a day. They really did make me happy. So great happy moments in this one for sure.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any chocolate since this started...so shame on you tempting me with these delights.
