  2. That's a cold, sobering sight indeed. Shocking, in fact.

    Man's inhumanity to man.

I live in France.and I an really sad to see that families and individuals in general cannot have healthcare. We pay taxes, yes, but darn, it's worth it. The US will only be for rich soon. I also want to say how I enjoy your blog.

  8. And again...it was great to be sending messages and kind words and such to the great people of Italy when this was getting bad, but I don't understand why Americans... highly visible, like actors, polictians, musicians and such were worried about everywhere but here. Were always concerned with everywhere but here....when we need to be looking on our own block...with so many struggling and dying. We need to mind ourselves first.

  9. Americans desperately need a new healthcare system...and if Trump gets re-elected, a better education system is even more urgent. I can't believe the US is the country I once lived.

  16. Though I voted for Biden, when this virus broke out, it made me think Bernie was on to something.

  18. It is absolutely outrageous. Adding to IMPOTUS and his cabal’s idiocy, America’s health system is a mess. It’s health for profit basically. And health insurance is tied to working. A formula sor disaster. And remember Cheeto and the repugs want to end the only way to have health insurance not tied to a job.
    Joy.

    XoXo

  19. With Bernie now out of the race...you can kiss any universal healthcare goodbye. Healthcare should be a human right, not a privilege for the few, and certainly not tied to having a job.

  20. Well, we can thank the Biden supporters. They have defeated universal health care, climate action, debt relief, wealth tax, college for all expanding social security, internet for all, and campaign finance reform, and any hope for peace.

Trump couldn't have done it better himself.

  21. This is a travesty. And when you go on COBRA you pay 100% of the premium PLUS an additional fee to your former employer. If that isn’t a fucked up system, I don’t know what is.
