Every day seems to bring a different mood, or a day of nothing, or a day where I am completely full of energy and do lots of things, in one of my Joan Crawford obsessive compulsive moments. After making some vanilla waffles I planned to clean the windows, but then a rain squall with winds came in briskly, and there went that idea. It was off to email where I got a humorous card from the Duchess Deedles... and than planted my ass to watch some movies. So here we for another addition of things that make people happy in their day.Pictures can be sent in for submission at mistressborghese@yahoo.com

Now I want a bird feeder. You're quite the influencer.

animals and flowers and birds and rain = springtime!
ReplyDeleteand I have never spilled any of that precious gin on my keyboard.
cali-boy's pix has me thinking dirty thoughts.
He does rather have big hands!!!!!
DeleteAnne Marie, I forgot to mention, I love your house! It's the perfect home for a dirty minded Carebear :)
Delete1450 sq ft, built in 1941. 3 br, 1.5 ba, fireplace, sunporch, hardwood floors throughout, 2 car garage, 1/2 acre, partially finished basement.
DeleteOh, I love it even more, now!
Deletewe are only the 5th owners. I even have the original construction blueprints.
DeleteIts such an amazingly simple post...but these make me happy. I always look forward to seeing the next batch. And nothing like a nice spring morning rain. That was a nice rain.
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie's knitting is beautiful.
thank you! :)
Deletei was going to say i see anne marie got started on your willy warmer.
ReplyDeletenot long and wide enough to cover THAT monster up! ;-b
DeleteIs that a shot of Fairmount Park?
ReplyDeleteThat is a stunning shot! And I'm guessing Cali Boi's pineapple ight go nicely with some of cooper's libations...then we can sit in Christina's beautiful garden watching birds. The three C's!!!
That is Fairmount Park I believe. So beautiful.
DeleteI love Preston's picture! It would make an excellent jigsaw puzzle! From what I can tell, Anne Marie would need a whole lot more yarn to make you a willy warmer (I think I prefer peter heater). I am totally with the Mahogany Empress and the pizza. Yum! Who am I kidding, I love all of these!
ReplyDeleteWell, Preston actually does photography. His pictures cover all subjects. That one was from New York he said. He sends me some every week in a text as since he has been in quarantine. He could have a hell of an exhibit. He is also the one who took the picture of my ass for the Lad, who submitted that in another happy moments you may recall. He should print these in jigsaws..that would be a great idea.
DeleteWell, he does beautiful work! I keep staring at that picture. It draws me. I keep seeing an alien's head in that tree. Mainly eyes. Surreal, to say the least. I do so love this one!
DeleteThe last thing my big fat ass needed was a pizza too!
Deletepizza is comfort food; I like hawaiian or double pepperoni. and my fat ass doesn't really need it either. which pizza shop do you use?
DeleteI use Zio's Brick Oven on 13th Street. It's convenient since I'm in the Walnut Street Apartments.
DeleteAll such beautiful happy things! Hell, the blue in the gin bottle Anne Marie has makes me happy. I love blue glass.
ReplyDeleteThey make great bud vases in a window for long stemmed flowers too!
DeleteI never thought of that. I always recycle my glass containers. but I will save this bottle for some flowers!
DeleteThey look beautiful in a window where the sun comes in.
DeleteEnjoyed all the pictures!
ReplyDeletebe safe. xoxo :-)
I wonder how AM's knitting looks after she's had the gin??
ReplyDeleteI have one of her pieces, and it's gorgeous.
bob, I never knit and drink. I like to think about the person for whom I am knitting and weave some happy thoughts into each artwork.
DeleteVery nice. The Sierras? I've been there. Very good pictures.
ReplyDelete...why thank you so much! Hiking there with camera at the ready definitely makes me happy....can’t wait to be able to do it again!
DeleteI love each and ever picture foe different reasons. I am very happy now. And I want to know what Cali Boi is going to make with that pineapple?
ReplyDeletehopefully pina coladas! or hawaiian pizza! or pineapple upside down cake!
DeleteThose picture Christiana sent are gorgeous. I just love birds and could watch them all day. These all certainly inspire one to get happy.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the things that make people happy!
ReplyDeleteNow those are some nice happy pictures!!!Lupe and Bronx are making me melt. And I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but I eat the pineapple just plain, right after being sliced. I love fresh pineapple.
ReplyDeleteme too!
DeleteSo many great images....I wouldn’t know where to begin, but clearly a great group of contributors...enjoyed it all! Preston ‘s image is truly wonderful, but gin and drink fixes works well too! Excellent post!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, shiny, colorful photos... Such a rainbow of job, babe! :)
ReplyDelete*joy
DeleteI love these posts. Your followers are such an eclectic bunch. Love the pets and flowers and the gnome house in the garden. And Cali-boi needs to move that pineapple out of the way.
ReplyDeleteIf he moves that knife , we see get a glimpse of his Stuffed Cannelloni!
DeleteLots of love and happiness in the world,
ReplyDeleteThanks to you and everyone for sharing these samples of happiness. You've made ME happy, too. And, yes, I will not get anywhere near Cali Boi and that knife. I nicked my thumb washing a paring knife yesterday. And, a brief time ago, as I put away groceries, I knocked a tin of peaches off the shelf. It bounced off my hand before putting a dent in the lid of our recycling in. Yeah, I've got a lump and bruise on my hand. Ouch and ouch. And I wasn't even cooking!
ReplyDeleteI think you better just back away from the kitchen tootes.
DeleteMads, if he backs away, he'll probably crash into a wall with a shelf full of breakables sticking out of it! That's my precious Scoot!
DeleteAnother great addition of Happy Moments!!!! You really did get a lot of pictures! These posts are very uplifting.
ReplyDeleteOh that pizza looks good!
