SHAMROCKS

Here we are in the middle of a pandemic...and one would think the Mistress would be knee deep in drinking a Irish whiskey or one of many of my fleet of gins. That may be true later...but as is tradition I am wearing my green...and enjoying yet again one of my all time guilty pleasures....THE SHAMROCK SHAKE!!!!!
Thank goodness I had the foresight to stop and get four last week and freeze them. These are like nectar to the gods!!!!!  Being a quarter Irish, my paternal grandmother was from Ireland, I don't go over board with Irish festivities for the day. I usually cook Corned Beef and cabbage dinner to the appalled side of my Dutch and Czech quarters...but alas, did not see any of this cornoavirus thing happening when i would have normally placed my order. I will have a ode to my grandmother and listen to some Irish folk music...and later I'll watch a favorite holiday classic, Finnians Rainbow. And as I told Travel Penguin....I do like to wear green and have role played a leprechaun before.

Now off to finish three more of these delicious treats!!!! Top of the morn to you and hope you all find that pot ole' gold.

🍀Happy Saint Patrick's🍀

  4. I see the shamrocks very clearly. Didn't notice the shake. My eldest granddaughter is fifteen today. I don't know how that happened! Her father, my son will be forty-two tomorrow. That was a neat trick since I'm only forty-six :) Yes I went all dyslexic on my age. Anyway, I do enjoy your manty pictures. Keep it up!

  11. Either I’m going blind, or I’m missing something. I don’t see any shamrock shake. I see something else shaking which is much more to my liking. Yum!
