Alright, give me a break. Amanda Lepore is actually a woman now, so yea, she is a tranny! But how much of a Grande Dame is she! Amanda was born Armand and decided at the age of 11 she wanted to be a woman. At age 15 she started her long journey to become Amanda and finally succeeded. She has since become a transsexual icon who has received attention for her modeling, fabulous fashion, partying, and business skills. Amanda was also one of the original "club kids" and has since been showing up at clubs, getting paid mind ya, to just be there and visible. Amanda can be seen at many of New York City's openings, popular parties, and clubs. In addition she has also starred in three movies and has even recorded two cds and is now touring the country with a cabaret act. She was just in New Hope not long ago and was fabulous! Wouldn't it be nice to just go to clubs and be paid? Now that's what I call a Grande Dame!

ReplyDeleteI have met her many times and she is aware of her apearance. She did it too get the look of shock and presence when entering a room. And she is a very tender and sweet heared person also. Great pictures.
