Potpourri of Thoughts

It was yet another great weekend. The Mistress and the Boy-Toy went to New Jersey to visit our good friend who has been a little depressed of late. We decided to do yet another girls weekend. We were going to watch movies,cook dinners and go into the city to see all the beautiful holiday windows,and the tree at Rockefeller Center. Well, the weather was so bitter cold on Saturday we decided not to go into the city at all. We ended up cooking all the nights we were there,homemade pasta with Italian sausage,on Saturday we made roast beef with green beans and roasted rosemary potatoes and then on Sunday our friend made delish Chicken Parmesan with mashed potatoes and peas. We also had a good time watching movies and the Mistress even brought along her spa treatments to give all facials!



After the facials we all enjoyed a long hot soak in the hot tub with a few cock-a-tails! A flaming Mistress and Cosmo's



Now that the weekend is over,the Mistress and the Boy-Toy will get the holiday festivities under way. Now that the abode painting is complete and the fall cleaning is done it is now time to start decking the halls.



Tonight the tree went up and the lights went on it. We also did our door wreath and collected some different varieties of pine sprigs for arrangements throughout out the house. Tomorrow night we will decorate the tree and place all our wonderful smelling candles all over the place. I loves me some candle light! At the end of the week we have friends coming again and we have the first of many Christmas soirees to go to. Aaahhhhh, ain't the holidays grand?
