I can see that as Halloween approaches my darker side emerges. How cool are these gowns? They would be so cool to wear to a Halloween Ball wouldn't they? Dark, creepy and eerily beautiful. Works of art. Meanwhile as if there haven't been enough shocks lately, I shocked myself and watch the Philadelphia Eagles play the Dallas Cowboys last night. The Eagles are kicking some serious ass bros. Did that sound butch? What did I learn? That a got the major hots for the Eagle's coach Nick Sirianni. WOOF! Those eyes?!?! Yes...ok ....back to the mood board.
And these head pieces are to die for.
Some stunning looks. I like the second from bottom best.
ReplyDeleteYou watched FOOTBALL? Who are you and what have you done with the Mistress?
ReplyDeleteWe will never say, bwahahahahahahahaha hahaha haha haaaaaaaa
DeleteThese contemporary gowns are incredible. A whole lot of talent.
ReplyDeleteWho designed those amazing dresses? I am not sure I'd be able to walk in one; I'd probably kill myself tripping over the hem.
ReplyDeleteWell...if you did trip and take yourself off you'd have the perfect gown ready then.
DeleteAra ara! The Mistress is into sports? You need to watch the Phillies and Padres tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteAnne Marie would have been overjoyed for the Phillies this season!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteSport is anathema to me, naturally, but even I can get a bit moist watching Cristiano Ronaldo and his tackle, Lewis Hamilton with his hand on his gearstick, or Rafael Nadal asking for "new balls please"...
ReplyDelete...and let's not even mention my next husband Tom Daley making a messy splash all over the place!
Jx
PS the "spooky looks" are fab-u-lous!
Hell, I couldn't tell you what the hell went on in the game, except seeing a lot of man meat in very, very tight pants. Me thinks you and I need to get tickets for Mr. Daly's next dive show in the splash zone.
DeleteMad hot gowns, sweetpea! I'd love to wear one everywhere and anytime! Re the game, well, the Eagles are 5-0 which is a grand start to their season, so I'm not surprised that as a Philly kid, you might've had to check the game out (and the coach is rather attractive)! Just proves how multi-dimensional y'all are, sugar. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI far from a sports fan Savvy, but living in the Philly area so long I can at least for the sake of the Phillies and Eagles... be their athletic supporter lambchop!!
DeleteTundra Bunny here.... LOVE your mood board today, especially the creepy beautiful gowns from Miss Haversham's wardrobe! The antlered woman's shoes look like modernized versions of the shoe lifts worn by wealthy women of the late 17th and early 18th centuries to keep their dresses out of the mud and manure on London streets...
ReplyDeleteI think you nailed the Miss Haversham look! And when I wore heels and still do at times I love wearing the high lift shoes.
DeleteOh, I positively love these frocks!
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't even do Drag! Go figure.
October does have that magick, no??
XOXO
That first dress is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI would think those shoes designed to represent hooves would be difficult to walk in.
ReplyDeleteI'll let you know!
DeleteI adore Louise Brooks!!!! And those gowns certainly make a statement Mistress. They say run the other way dear. But definitely are seasonally in the spirit.
ReplyDeleteWait? Did you say you saw football??!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteThe whole country is going to freeze over for sure.
I LOVE this. And those pictures did give me chills-those gowns???. But the sixth photo...that just screams your style Mistress!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage pics, they make every one seem so innocent and they were everything but. I wonder what was going through their heads when they were being snapped.
ReplyDeleteThe gowns are spectacular, a mood in themselves.
