PSA
People are saying if there was only more God in school these days, these recent shooting wouldn't happen. But let me ask you this question. Where was their God when all the molestations was happening in their churches?
Amen, sister! It's not God or family or any of the other bullshit reasons the GOP is tossing out! It's the fault of the 50 Republican Senators who REFUSE to pass HR 8, even in its current watered down version! I am so damned tired of being angry! xoxo
I'm sure if an omnipotent god wanted to be in school, he could probably wrangle a way to do so. This is just another attempt by the god botherers to deflect the responsibility they bear for these horrors.
I could go on major rant on mostly Christianity. With my own experience. When some one talks about saving souls. I clutch my purse a lot tighter and after they leave I take inventory, to see if I didn't get rip off. How about saving humanity. Coffee is on and stay save
Let's face it: what they mean is the christian god, and we all know how vile and vengeful that god can be. Besides, hen's the last time you heard about an atheist going on a killing spree? Gods and prayers are useless in the tangible world, and no amount of "thoughts and prayers" have done a thing - ever.
They don't really mean God, they mean Christianity, the two are completely different.

ReplyDeleteRight on, Pam! You tell those hypocrites!
ReplyDeleteGod is too busy picking the winning sports team to have time for mass shootings.

He was at a tea party with the Easter bunny, the Tooth fairy and Santa claus.
ReplyDeleteYour always good to make me chuckle Christina.
DeleteIt is dreadful happenings like Uvalde and peoples' responses to them that made me realise that god is a figment of the imagination.
ReplyDeleteYep, I agree Helen.
DeleteIn anger and sadness
ReplyDeleteI also still wonder where were the good guys with guns when those poor Latino kids were getting shot up.
ReplyDeleteYes, I understand that there was already some kind of security guard stationed there on the grounds.

Yes, I agree Dora. Some will rob you blind , even if the church is already worth a fortune.
DeleteBlogger ate my comment. Damn!
ReplyDeleteIt's posted! For some reason it went into spam.
DeleteIt is almost comical how things are always twisted to always support their dogmas.
