MOOD BOARD

Well... the Mistress was off the radar for the weekend to New Hope, and it appears that Pride Month is upon us. This year I'm ready, after a two-year absence with the pandemic. Seems most cities will be back in full swing, I'm ready to attend again. With what's going on currently with many rights possibly being under attack... again, don't they know were not going anywhere yet... numbers are going to be important to show the size of us and that we aren't going anywhere. The first kick off is always New Hope Celebrates, and the Grande dame and good friend, Miss Pumpkin asked for me to return, graciously to be a guest queen at her establishment, but I declined the parade. It was so hot; I would have melted like a roman candle in clown make-up. I also had forgotten just how long it took to do proper and full regalia trademark Mistress drag. And lesbi honest, I do have some Bucks County withdrawals since moving. Before the show, I had the morning and afternoon to spend enjoying some cock-a-tails, visiting, and frolic with friends from here, and there. One friend had complimented all of the cock-a-tail pictures on my Instagram. There are quite a few. What can I say, I love my cock and tails. So for today, here are some from it. See, I do like more that just my gin, granted, some of these are gin based. Many were from the weekend. Aren't they prudy?

Cheers Queers!

Before the melted Roman Candle look.

  1. Damn!
That's a LOOK, Maddie! You ATE.
And I love cock a tails! I recently tried something called Oxacan Penicillin. No, I don't have any infections, bu that cocktail was awesome: it had some kind of lime and some Mezcal. Yum.

    XOXO

    1. To my knowledge I don't think I ever had Mezcal. I'm not sure I'd like it as I'm not a huge tequila fan. That drink you mention could have been right at home in a bar in NYC called Therapy. That was a cool bar. All the drinks were named after medications and drug names. And the boys were hot up in that place.

    1. It was good to be back! One guy that used to go to the Raven said to me it was like Eva Peron returning. LOL!!!!! Too which I replied
"Don't cry for me, dear Bucks County
      The truth is
      I never left you
      All through my wild days
      My mad existence
      I kept my promise
      Don't keep your distance"

  3. Pride in Long Beach has been moved to July. There’s a huge festival from the 8th to the 10th (it’s going to be hot as Hell), featuring events such as a Drag Makeup Station, Roller Rink, Stiletto Disco, etc. Iggy Azalea is a headliner, and Twin 1 has been chosen as the Parade’s Grand Marshall …. so you know I’m there.

    1. Is this the daughter that was CNN hero of the year??? That is great! Please go to the drag queen make-up Station, I would love to see the result. And If I was there, I'd soooo be up for the stiletto Disco

    2. Yes that's she. I love a parade, so I'm more excited by her being on a float than I am by that CNN hero. I'm planning to go to the makeup station, but not for the full monty, but to learn how it is they so manage to cover facial imperfections, so I can better cover my blotchy spots.

  4. First, colored balls. Then, mood lifting by proxy, drinks. And finally, dessert! Mads, you look like you could give Wonder Woman a run for her money!

    1. That was two wigs stacked together. Funnily enough, Lynda Carter was a bit of the inspiration for that wig. Good eye!

      Now time to dry out.......

  10. How truly inspiring. First... you look fab, dear. No one can touch you! (Unless you're okay with that... consent - I hear it's important!) Those drinkie poos! Sigh. I can only imagine. They look to be as festive as the tradition of PRIDE. Thanks for sharing... and for spreading your sunshine all over... I'm sure all the recipients were most grateful (and damn fortunate!) Kizzes.
