GLAMPING POSTCARDS

It is always met with melancholy when the glamping season comes to an end, for me at least. But the Woods Campground only has another 6 weeks left before closing for the season. I could go back one more time, but don't know...it gets very cold at night in the fall. And Im a hot house flower. In these times of the pandemic is has been one of the few places I have gone since I don't venture to far from home, and with no international travel, at least for this bitch.  And being an outdoors person , it suits me just fine not to mention all the friendly people and comradery that goes on with such a welcoming atmosphere. I was up after P-town and then again this weekend for my last hurrah of the season. Here are summer postcards I took between the very fun Illumination,  and bear weekends. I met a new friend, did another "spin for Tea Dance, got in some hikes and just enjoyed the frivolity of it all. And yes , we do have our own slushy machine on our site. They make me do the most devilish things.

  1. I hate to tell you, Sweetie, but that bear cub looks more like a bear trap.

    1. And everyone has fun as a community. No attitude. No unacceptance. And no judgments.

  4. Ohhh And you just put that pic of your good side there, huh?
No wonder why those boys ran that golf cart on a log. They were absolutely distracted. Love everything here! Would love to go glamping. And falling into that bear trap with pink boots.

    XOXO

  5. Bear cubs, New friends, and Good sides, Oh Myyyyyy! Great Pics! Don't think I did not notice that Giraffe in the background of "The Gallery." You'll need to smuggle that out for me, along with one or three of those lost bear cubs. (And can you really call a side you use to be bad a good side?)

  17. You should be arrested for having so much fun. It blows my mind what many do with their camp sites.

    Hence the glamping part.

    1. It would only consume the bear cub if I don't get there first. And those guys have the nicest and biggest hibiscus I've seen.
