It still seems weird to me after all this time in the pandemic and now being back to work, that my Monday bitching is no more. If your a regular longtime reader of this blog, then you'll know Mondays and I were never friends, it was like a smooth criminal, who'd sneak in and take the weekend when we weren't looking. And I'm so not a morning person. Don't wake me till I get up, or make racket or turn on lights. It would be like trying to take a piece of meat from a sleeping lion!!! So this gig with my friend at his shop works out nicely since he's not open on Mondays, so it gives me a nice three day weekend every week. Almost makes me miss Mondays. I said almost! And this week I needed a lay in from the weekend up in the Pocono's with good friend and sister Mame, aka David Dust and old , old, and I do mean old friend Winfred. So for those working, a nice board to reflect my mood and offer so calm.....more later....
Very lovely! Top-o-the-morning to you.
ReplyDeleteI love happy Mondays. I do not missing being a corporate drone.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Nice way to start the day!
ReplyDeletexoxo :-)
Great photos - - they brightened my Monday!
ReplyDeleteTwo things to never fail to make me happy, flowers and drag queens. And I must say Darienne Lake looks amazing in that picture.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday sweet cakes! So glad you back. I missed some post. Love these gals too
ReplyDeleteOh dear, are my cakes showing?
DeleteI do love flowers (as you know), but I still hate Mondays... Jx
ReplyDeleteI find a good noon sniffier helps......
DeleteThe two bee photos are my faves, of course!
ReplyDeleteFabulous queens, indeed. And I agree with Debra, although I like the yellow sea monster, too. Some very pretty stuff... you certainly have an eye for collecting fetching things! Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to like about starting the week off with pictures of stunning flowers and a fuzzy bumblebee's bum?
ReplyDeleteDarienne Lake?!?!?! That's the best she ever looked!
ReplyDeletePs. I still hate Mondays.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......all s pretty.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Adora! That look is everything.
I love your queers!
ReplyDeleteIs the parakeet lady (Gloria Devine? I'm not 100% awake yet) wearing a DEAD parakeet on her head? As for flowery dress lady (Cheryl Hole? - see above)- she's got the mask thing mixed up - the mask is supposed to be over your mouth dear, to stop the noxious vapours (as the Victorians used to have it).
ReplyDeleteGigi did that for a photo shoot and i believe all the parrots were actually all real ones to my knowledge. Except for the one lone one you speck of.
DeleteAnd Cheryl Hole's inspiration was a floral ode to Catwoman from the Burton franchaise...but this shot was taken before the pandemic. LOL!!!
Glorious. And that poolside shot. Oh my god.
ReplyDeleteSasha....even as a sea creature looks fabulous.
DeleteOoh, floral! With bees!!!
ReplyDeleteAnna Phylactic's bee look reminds me very much of Chuck (Anna Friel) and Betty Bee (Missi Pyle) in "Bzzzzzzzzz!", Pushing Daisies.
