DeleteSweet post, my dear. Hope you spent the day with your wonderful mother. I made mine brunch... 4th year in a row. Me & The Ex (her best friend) plan it. Sometimes I cook, sometimes I just buy things. We had a lovely two hour conversation. She has 4 other kids, but I'm the only one she got a card from this year! Was rather shocked. But the day was young... so, who knows. Hopefully there will be more there tomorrow. It's one day year. So... no excuses. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteI sure hop she does receive more...like you said what's their excuse...you get one mother!!! I knew you were a good son. I got my mother a lovely Fushia and rose bush for the garden and made a salmon dinner on the grill...the first of the season! I head back to the Casa later today.
