AUTUMN IN THE AIR

Yes, I'm one of those people who hate and upset when the days get shorter, and cooler. I'm a hot house flower, give me the hot and humidity any day. It's not that I don't like autumn, it s a beautiful season, but once the leaves are gone, it's just all dead and decay looking....then I'm wanting snow to cover it up!!!! The Mistress had a lovely time up at the Woods this summer....it was the perfect place to escape this pandemic,  and there just wasn't the crowds to worry about like my usual haunts. With the pied de terre work done, I returned last night. It is always slightly sad to have the last  glamping trip for the season, they close in three weeks. It means I won't see some friends, and new ones, for another year. It was the perfect place for me to at least keep social, as I do think I could get to be a recluse if not around people for long. But this week got even cooler then normal for even the Pocono Mountains. And in just last week, the leaves started changing that quick. But more good hikes and new friend Christopher got some good shots of the Mistress.
I think I was contemplating life
Christopher titled this one "Stream Fairy"

I had to included these cute camper lights on our site just for Sixpense.
This is the view I see outside my pop camper from the bed when Im there.

There is often theme weekends. This weekend was 90's and Arcade Games. Many did fun things with lights and arcade related themes on the sites. But this group had me!!!!! Pac Man never looked better. And all I wanted to do was play with Pinky's joystick. Then it was off to a 90's themed social distance party. Met some nice guys there. But it was the hosts I loved....for this alone....
Now that is a brilliant upgrade to that sign. I say they should be mass produced. So there you have it. Every week it just seems to get worst and worst and worst with this country doesn't it...but I'm still here. Yep, I'm telling you.... I won't give up and I won't give up on you either...you  need this entertainment as much as I, ladies and gentleman. So if your reading from your desk , lazy- boy or sitting on the toilet I hope you enjoyed.
A huge thank you to my host's and good friends, Wayne and Trevor and to the Woods Campground for putting up with my gin soaked ass for what seemed like all summer, and being so accommodating and not letting me fall out in the forest or on the bonfire.

  2. I agree with Cooper. Every image made my day. And so nice to see your back side out of those tight jeans. You know how I love these tight white jeans but sometimes a man's got to enjoy a nice raw rump roast. Okay "raw" was a little provocative for "wrap it up in a ziplock" ole me. But you get the point. By the way did you get the point? even just the tip? LOL

  3. Did you know that "the original Japanese title of Puck Man was changed to Pac-Man for international releases as a preventative measure against defacement of the arcade machines by changing the P to an F"?

    How very appropriate. Jx

  6. I now look forward to autumn. Mediterranean climates make it much more pleasant. As for the 7 PacMen, Mr. Green probably man-spreads on the subway.

  18. You contemplate Life beautifully... and a romp naked in the Forrest seems so liberating, I'm now jealous! In the PacMan Grouping I like the one on the far Right in what looks like Purple, I'm color blind so I'm not sure? *LOL* And that Sign alteration made my day, makes me want to go around to every one of his Election Signs and do that now! *LOL*

  22. Despite having an Autumn birthday, and notwithstanding Nature's glorious colours of the season, I do find in Autumn there's an underlying nervous apprehension, specifically in October and November when you can have no idea what Winter weather atrocities are coming at you, all ready to blast at you from round the next corner. At least with Spring there's Hope.

    1. Raybeard I too share a autumn birthday with you. I'm in October, and I agree with your every word here. If not working by winter, I surmise I won't mind winter this year as I won't have to leave the comfort of home at all it I don't want, so it could snow all it wanted. But let me not get crazy...

    2. I'm an Oct too - 2 weeks from tomorrow, which'll be on my blog come the day, and sharing mine with W.Q.'S hubby, RTG.

  23. Lovely photos, mistress.

I think Autumn has a certain sadness about it. I always plant lots of bulbs to come up in spring. That gives me something to look forward to.

Glad you've had a good summer. Hope you are ok and coping with all the pandemic is bringing.

Love to you and buster. Xx

I do love autumn and the decoration of the house and the cuddling up with an extra blanket at night...but right before winter is when it gets depressing. So far all well just not working yet. Hope all are well with you too. Yes the bulbs will bring some beauty next year,

  24. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your trips to the woods brought a much needed break to these pandemic days. And I’ll take a steam fairy any day!

Here’s hoping that November 3 brings a bright light to this country and we can toss this administration into the last bonfire of the year!

  25. Well, thank you Christopher for those lovely images. They should be on Woods Campground postcards! I mean, really, who wouldn't want to chase that Stream Faery around the acreage? Or sit next to that gorgeous ass on the dock?

Welcome back home. I do hope the Houseboys behaved themselves - well, as much as they ever do! Hugs!!
