HAPPY MOMENTS #15

Seems in these times, we are just getting more to deal with. The pandemic is still raging on, not to mention the impeding elections, and bound to be nasty fighting for the seat. The summer riots continue,  as should. Maybe many will see everyone should be equal finally...and now we're having to deal with terrible and odd weather...Mother Nature is becoming even more unhappy and as she should be. Between hurricanes and raging fires, many are being displaced losing homes, tons of wildlife wiped out and beautiful scenery gone. Everything seems to be more fucked up then months ago. And what worries me more, is I have heard either party on their platform discuss at length any plans for global warming and environment issues. Which worries me to no end. So many other worries and issues too, so I think we are in need of another, grossly long over due, happy moments. Thanks to all who submitted some great subject matter!!!!! We all have those things that makes us happy.

  6. The whole post was set by Agnes's pretty table settings again and just kept getting better. I too have been disappointed with lack of idea and stances on the environment form both parties, whom neither one addressed in their conventions. I worry.

Thanks for featuring Patience!!!! She is in good company.

Anne Marie, we aren't in any danger, yet anyway. We do have orangey skies and soot/ashes on our cars. I'm glad I talked BH out of trying to camp this year!

    1. We'd saw you mowing your grass shitless I bet!!! You really are close to downtown then. I used to live on front street when I lived in Harrisburg. We would have been neighbors across a river.

  11. Oh I love all the Happy vibes here!!!! I am very upset by both parties about the environment. Both seem to be lax in my opinion. I'm seeing very little hope in this country. I had a bad day, but this post lightened my mood.

  12. It's always so nice to see Deedles!!! I love Lukes pictures. I even dare say it looks as thought he risked his life getting them. And the pups in the kayak is so cute. It appears even dogs are more adventurous than I?!?! And bravo to Bryon 's brother for his service. All these pictures warmed me on this humid night. And Lilith . How did she ever keep those on. I dare say she appears to like them Mistress.

  14. By the way, Mads, who is the lady on your new header? She looks so familiar. I want to say Julie London, but I remember mistaking that mannequin you had before for a real person. This is a real person and her face is driving me crazy! I KNOW THAT FACE, DAMMIT!

    1. It's Jane Russel honey!!!!

    2. Thank you, Mads! I know I knew that face! The hair color threw me. I loved her in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes so much more so than Marilyn Monroe. The jahoobies should've been a dead give away :) Well, at least she isn't a mannequin, or a man in drag. I don't feel so stupid now.

All lovely pictures! Your readers certainly love their drinks, pets and nature!!! And to clarify Im not a crazy cat lady. My mom has family cats, I have four cats and three cats were visiting...being cat sat for a friend. It was just odd they all seemed to be in the one room. I couldn't believe it myself. Danny's sphinx cats are so stunning.
