A brilliant woman that will be forever remembered as one of the great Supreme Court Justices of our time. She was a fighter to the end, and I am sure she suffered more than anyone knows. THANK YOU JUSTICE GINSBURG
She fought so hard to hold on and it utterly breaks my heart that she couldn't make it until January. Rest in Power, RBG. You have been in inspiration for so many during your remarkable life.
I feel for you all in the US. What is happening there?
While watching the news last night I had seen where she almost retired but didn't If an 80 year old with multiple illnesses had made the responsible decision to retire under a Liberal...
Instead, she handed over the keys to the kingdom to trump.
Sometimes good people, brilliant, intelligent people, make horrible decisions that WILL change the course of history. I bet if she could have seen then what would happen, she may have changed her mind. She will be missed for sure. We're screwed.
OH FUCK NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....could not have said it better...my reaction exactly when I got the news ...while thoughts should be appropriately upon this remarkable woman, her accomplishments and our loss, forces of evil have seized upon the opportunity to do irreparable damage to our democracy and freedoms without a pause.... ...we must use this as further impetus to resist and invigorate our efforts!!!
Such an Icon, so many of us were able to accomplish so much more in our Corporate Lives due to her shattering Glass Ceilings and standing up for Gender Equality and Human Rights! Her Legacy will live on.
TO CELINA- While I love to have comments from people of all walks of life and views, I removed you comment as I don't condone being called a fag, except by close friends. The way you used it was meant to be mean spirited and don't want negetive words being spoken in honor of a great woman-RBG.
To those you responded to her, sorry about the missing comments, but they also deleted when I got rid of the poor creature, she was getting nasty, she lost her equilibrium because she's lost her faith in love. Oh l'amour, l'amour.
I think I'm glad I didn't have to read any negative shit about RBG. Thank you for getting rid of the comment and saving my sanity. Fuck, Mondays are hard enough!!
Thanks for stopping in dear. I agree with you. So many good positive mover and shakers are gone...heroes, like you said. And we don't seem to see the likes and the level of these great people anymore...it's like a dying breed.
What a wonderful person, gave so much
ReplyDeleteservice to our country. May she rest
in peace.
I can't believe this. It keeps getting better. It's about to get real ugly.
ReplyDeleteI'm in shock and mourning.
ReplyDeleteA brilliant woman that will be forever remembered as one of the great Supreme Court Justices of our time. She was a fighter to the end, and I am sure she suffered more than anyone knows. THANK YOU JUSTICE GINSBURG
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad right now. Hey, if you're going to stop the car on Miss Lindsey or someone else, please let me ride shotgun.
ReplyDeleteSuch a devastating loss.
ReplyDeleteDon't be surprised when McConnell attempts to rush a nomination through even though it's an election year. Think the GOP's hypocrisy has any bounds?
I was about to say the same...Turtle Mitch will replace RGB seat before she’s even buried...God bless her soul and may she Rest In Peace.
DeleteRest In Peace, ma’am. Thank you for your service to this great country.
ReplyDeleteI got out of bed this morning. Read the headlines. And that's exactly what I said: OH FUCK NO. A true great in every way!
ReplyDeleteRest in Peace,RBG. Your fight is done. Time for us to take up the struggle.
ReplyDeleteOH FUCK NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is exactly what I said when I found out, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing woman. What an astounding career. A true champion for all that was good and right in this country.
ReplyDeleteAt least we have the precedent where the senate will not take up a SCOTUS nomination in an election year. Yeah right.
What a hero, and an icon, and an exam[le for all of us to keep fighting.
ReplyDeleteA defining moment. I met her once.
ReplyDeleteA moment you'll always treasure.
DeleteNO NEW JUSTICE UNTIL AFTER JANUARY 20, 2021! that's what the notorious RBG wants.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly sad. I doubt Mitch McTurtle and the Republicans will honor or even care what she wanted. The dump is probably doing his baby happy dance.
DeleteSee below! Her second comment to both of you was inexcusable.
DeleteHearing that breaking news was like a punch in the gut.

sad day indeed.
ReplyDeleteA loss of an incredibly brave and strong woman.
ReplyDeleteThis is a time for respect, and anyone⬆ who would troll the death of another human being is not worthy of being a citizen of our Democracy.

FUCK. I have never seen so many different factors rest an election in my lifetime.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable.
Her legend will endure.

ReplyDeleteHer death removes my hope.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely devastated.
ReplyDeleteWhat excuse will have those middle-of-the-road now for not voting for Biden?
XOXO
Your right. What MORE does one need now? VOTE BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteI cried out. Then I cried. Our 34th Anniversary (Saturday) was a very somber one indeed.
ReplyDeleteI just happen to be on my phone when i saw it...and dropped my phone!
DeleteMy heart is broken. My country is broken and our heroes are gone. RBG was magnificent.
