MONDAY ALREADY?

How is it these weekends just fly by???? This weekend found me up in Brooklyn with Mistress Maddie's #1n Fan to hang out and do nothing in particular, although I did make a pit stop to a special location to purchase some things. The weather was gloriously fall and nice sunny, but cool temperatures. The thing I enjoyed the most was the milling about the streets of Brooklyn and just taking in the festive door stoops, and spooky finery. I guess I'm a Morticia Adams at heart.
Have a wonderful Autumn Monday!!!

    2. Spider legs, no. I was talking about the oh so smooth dance moves :)

  3. We don't see much in the way of outdoor Halloween decorations around here. Not sure why....

    Have an awesome day. Hugs!

  5. I don't mind this Monday, because I've just had a three-day weekend and, oh yes, I have the rest of the week off.
I could get used to this.

  6. It's Monday?

Love all the decorations for Halloween. Around here it's more blow up lawn decorations that are beyond cheesy to me, but the kids seem to like them! xoxo

    1. Well lambchop, we have those too, but natural pumpkins are still the biggest thing around here.

  7. Happy Monday. You sound like me, I could walk the streets just exploring, especially when in the NYC area. Loves the pictures.

  8. Awesome fotos! Vibrant fall leaves in stunning shades of red and orange. Marvelous architecture. And festive and fun Halloween decorations and spectacular pumpkins!

I shall attempt to do the Morticia Addams the next time I go dancing. It will be the most horrific thing to ever happen at the club. I shall enjoy embarrassing my friends!

  9. I always adored Morticia more the Lily Munster. More exotic. Autumn in new York is truly a stunning time of year.

  10. Why is it that as I get older the work week gets longer and the weekends get shorter. Beautiful pictures. The high winds we had this weekend stripped off most of the autumn foliage we had in the outlying Chicago area.

And I love me some Morticia.

  11. Mondays do seem to come around rather quickly. But they fly by even more quickly, luckily!
Great photos - I love all those town houses with their steps full of pumpkins.

  13. Over here, the "carved lantern" was always the swede/turnip or "neep" (as they call it in Scotland), used as a way to scare off evil spirits at the festival of Samhain. They might be incredibly tough in comparison to the colonial pumpkin (and not nearly as pretty as a piece of interior decor), but some people still stick to their traditions... Jx

    1. Dear, nothing seems to scare off evil spirits at the festival of Samhain around this joint.

  14. Gomez and Morticia can do no wrong. Ever. And I’m loving the Fall spirit in those photos! Very organic I don’t like plastic decorations. Ugh.
Oh, and I’m jealous you were in NY. I wanna LIVE there.

    XoXO
