BACK IN THE DAY

 

Back in the day. Back in the day. Don't you remember when people said back in the day? I never did do anything too tragic. I did drink though. I remember drinking heavy in the drag days. Boy, Back in the day did they like their drags drunk on stage during a show. They feed you with liquor, get some laughs and then leave you after the show, and then it's all downhill from here. That's what I want to pass on to the future generation of queens. Don't let them feed you with booze. Cause it catches up when you least expect it. I mean there you are, on the A train in NYC, fucked up out of your mind. Next thing you know, there you are, you're playing the bag pipes completely naked. And you don't even play the bag pipes, you don't even know where you got the bag pipes from. And that's when you know you've gone too far... yet again.

    I never did drag, but BACK IN THE DAY I drank a lot! The bag pipes on the A Train offer more coverage than a piccolo on the F Train (not that that's something I ever did; I'm just saying).

    Back in the day that champagne and cocktail would be just for starters when we could hold our liquor.
    Back in the day when a drink could be had for between 50 and 85 CENTS, not 10 and 15 DOLLARS !
    Back in the day when you could make a complete ass or fool of yourself, and no one gave a flying f@#k.
    Back in the day was pretty damn GOOD ! :)

      I can remember back in the day, my circle of friends would make the bar rounds, and would end up in one of our favorite pubs, where we would buy rounds of shots, for 50 cents, some 75 cents. About a dixie cup size shot. There would be between 5-12 of us. And we'd all buy a round. Can you imagine that bill now????? And back in the day, one could find blow jobs in an alley!

      I still make a fool of myself....but if one knows me.......
