HOMO EROTIC

To me artwork doesn't always have to be done by a high profile artist. I have some friends that can just take a pencil and draw and it looks like a wonderful masterpiece. As artistic and visual I can be in some areas... trust me... you don't want to see my doodles. You may recall last week from my post on my weekend jaunt from Fire Island, a girl that I met one day was doing some quick pen and inks... impromptu pen and ink sketches... of two men. I was blown away by how good it looked, and she did it of a gay couple she knew. I just love the look of her artwork. And most of the subjects that she uses are personal friends and people she knows. I just love the feeling of her technique and the look of the pieces. I think they are sort of reminiscent of the artwork that my friend Doug did of me when i "sat" for him... His were in pastels and charcoals for the Naked In New Hope Art Show. This was one of the two pieces he gifted me.

What amazes me the most with this artist, is not only was she a woman but she was also a lesbian, and her level of detail for quick sketches was amazing. I also like that she dabbled in several mediums. From pen and ink, too charcoals and pen and watercolors. Apparently she was telling me a lot of her artwork is tied in with a male erotica art Collective..which I think is even more amazing. She can be found on Instagram under the name Valmortgod. And we know I love the color pink so you know I'm loving her artwork with the pink tones.

Well ....I wish I had Talent like that. And you can imagine what my artwork would look like let alone what the subjects would be!!

  2. Don't be surprised at women and lesbians who enjoy male homoerotica. In the male/male "slash" fanfiction and fanart world, many (if not most) of the writers and artists are women and many (if not most) of its consumers are women. Who do you think are the primary creators and consumers of my beloved personal fave, Steve 'n Bucky media? You don't have to be sexually attracted to men to enjoy male homoeroticism and romance. I'm living proof of that! And we are legion, LOL!

    1. No you're right... actually it doesn't surprise me. I remember there used to be an author that wrote really good male on male sex novels... and they were far more hot and better written than what the men were writing. So does this mean you enjoy male erotica? And is it all right to send nudes !!!!! LMAO!!!!!

    6. Speaking for the 'friendly to a fault' crowd, it doesn't surprise me that a queer woman can vibe with homoerotica. I sure do! Mr. Peenee can vouch for that! (butt chops forever!)

    7. And those were lovely butt chops!

  3. Oh my gosh I love the technique of these pictures. That's very unusual that a lesbian would do male art.

Meanwhile I do remember you featuring those two pictures your friend did. I don't know how you sat nude for somebody... I think I'd be very nervous.

    1. That wouldn't faze the Mistress. We generally have to pay him to keep his clothes on!

  4. She really catches the vibe, I think, that love thing in the shape of a male body. The guy lying on the lounge chair is my favorite!

  5. LOOOOOVE!
You know how much I love homoerotic art. I especially like that pink one that's obviously inspired by the Birth of Venus. And as Debra mentioned, many women draw homoerotic art very well. They know what we like, after all...

    XOXO

  7. I love her work. I've known so many women (and lesbians) who have a gift for male homoerotic art (writing, included).

  8. If a lesbian artist ever asks me to her room to look at her sketching, I'll know now to say yes!

  9. They're all really good! You could learn - you have the eye for detail, etc. Also, good excuse to get men to take their kit off.

  10. These are excellent...and I love color!!!! I will have to look her up.

I never understood at least for men artist, how they control themselves to draw or paint a live naked male subject and not be tempted to have some fun? Like in your case. I would have at least rubbed you I'm sure?!?! LMAO!!!!!

    1. I think it's actually harder from the models standpoint. You had to really think about not moving too much while sitting. Most artist I believe are there for the artistic opportunity and do their work. Now what happens afterwards, I'm sure there's been instances where relations have taken place.

  11. It would be hard for you to do some of these. Many years ago there was an actor, John Davidson, who started out his career as a model, he was being interviewed on talk show and they asked him about and he said, "it was the hardest job he ever had" the panel turned red and started to laugh.

  13. I love that artwork I can see why you like it. The technique is a little reminiscent of your friends work that he did of the picture of yourself. I think I like this technique. It's well done, yet simplistic.

  16. I think the male body male or female is beautiful in general, and I always love nude artwork. I wish I could have seen that naked in New Hope art show. But I love all these works and you know me, I love a lot of color.

  17. I too love this artwork and I wouldn't mind owning a piece, although I'm sure my family would give me some looks. But screw them it's my house if I want to be a colorful horny old lady than so be it! And I've always loved the artwork at your friend did of yourself.
