MOOD BOARD

This time of year I call my brown period. It's that awkward time between winter and not yet spring, everything still feels a little dead, soggy.muddy and brown, and the winter doldrums continue. Of course then we get teased with some beautiful days from mother nature like today for instance.even with warm temps and sun...its still winter. Sort of a blah feeling. But I actually adore the color brown especially in my wardrobe and in my home. In my old pied de terre, I used to be famous for my dark chocolate brown bedroom. The walls looked so rich.Some of you may recall that from my earlier posts, before my new color went to dark navy blue.I adore the brown spectrum, brown's,camels, tans, taupes creams. And you'll notice lions. I used to have fantasies of having a pet lion or bear....and lying back in their mane or fur. How decadent would that be???Of course I also enjoy others bears....and nothing wrong with a side of hot chocolate either....Smooth...dark hot chocolate girls.

 

And when I get up and open the drapes and find it's Monday again???
