    1. Meanwhile, I always wanted to wear the outfit of the man Norman is with. And I'd still get to wear a wig!!!!

  2. Oh, Norma Shearer!

Joan Crawford's nemesis; about whom she said: “She sleeps with the boss. Who can compete with that? I don’t get it. She’s cross-eyed, knock-kneed, and she can’t act worth a damn. What does he see in her?”

    Miaoww! Jx

PS Happy Friday - clink, clink, sweetie!

    1. And just in time dear!!!

Maybe Norma didn't heed Joan's other advice. "I think that the most important thing a woman can have - next to talent, of course - is her hairdresser."

    1. Been in one! I did a Italian Courtesan one year for a Halloween Party. It was the biggest and most lush ensemble to date I wore, and probably the biggest hair too.

    4. Huh, well...you guys might be right. The undies are getting tighter.....

    5. Mads, I read your previous post. I don't think it's the shakes that are tightening those undies.

  12. The Galerie des Glaces is much, much smaller than I imagined it to be. It does not look big enough to hold the court of the kings of France, especially the court of that big head, Louis XIV.

  14. Just the frock to get all the dusting done in. Just sashay around the house and the dusting's done!
