PSA

It women took up arms to defend their reproductive rights, the GOP would banned gun and assault rifles yesterday!!!!

And this...

Keeping AR-15s on the street is a choice the our politicians in DC have made. It will never change until concerned people demand it. (And I didn't say slightly concerned.) And if these things don't change, I wish 80% of the House and Senate would be a bloodbath and get voted out. It's time to give DC  a long overdue enema.

  1. LOL!!!!! You nailed the first one!!!!

And I agree. Maybe we need to vote a whole new congress in. But sadly, to many keep voting for the same old politicians who aren't getting things through or like you said corrupt and evil.

  4. Oh, you are so right.
I cannot believe women didn't take to the streets in a fury. And you know that those Repugs are running around telling people Uncle Joe is coming for their guns. Idiots!
We do need some sensible gun laws in this country. That a deranged 18 year old can buy a fucking gun and the next day go and shoot half a dozen innocent people is not something that happens in civilized societies.

    XOXO

100%. If women and BIPOCs started buying guns as fast as the poor, dumb, white asshats, the GOP wouldn't be able to vote on gun laws and ban assault-style weapons fast enough.

    1. Maybe we should do just that. Buy them all up...trash them... and then just destroy

  8. Just realised that your header is from Priscilla Queen of the Desert - a wonderful film, up there with Kinky Boots.

  9. They need to take the money out of politics on both sides of the pond - without the dirty money floating around there'd be less reason to allow the sale of military style weapons

  10. This country is totally fucked up.

  11. I think we need to make boner pills just as hard to get as an abortion. Make it so men have to drive 500 miles or into the next state to buy them. That might help, too.

  12. First. Love the header. Secondly... that makes me so sad. To see all those incidents stacked like that. What a world. Keep preaching, love. I'm hearing you! Gay-men! Kizzes.

  14. They keep saying large city such as Chicago and such has more shooting. Actually Mississippi and Wyoming has more per 100,000 people.

  15. Yes...great idea!!!! I never thought I'd say this but I too am tired of my party being a weakening against the GOP on this. This is not the time to be sitting idly away with fingers up their ass.

  16. It only took 7 people to die from poisoned Tylenol in the 80’s to change the way we consume drugs in this country. This makes no sense. From either party.

  17. Good Americans should be buying stock of the company making those weapons, since the government won't act, take the company down from inside. And yes, good one. Harm the women over heath rights. Laws will be passed yesterday.

  18. We need to stop making excuses for both parties.... this doesn't happen in other 1st world countries...why?

  19. LOL!!!!! So true, brilliant idea.

I’ve always thought it outrageous that people think the Second Amendment has to do with today's guns. It was written when people had muskets. A gun that you had to pour gun powder into and then put the bullet and then use a rod to push everything down into the chamber. AR-15’s are not muskets!

Yeah, now apply that logic to the First. Radio, television, internet? None of that is protected speech.

Or the Fourth. So nothing over the phone or internet qualifies as "unreasonable searches and seizures".

See the problem with this thinking? It's literally "original intent" nonsense that even this court isn't dumb enough to try.

And yes, this is the quintessential problem with gun control. Well, one. (We're not forgetting how the first gun control laws were to prevent slave uprisings, and it was a tool of genocide of indigenous peoples. As in, Wounded Knee literally began with confiscating guns.) How do you set up this interpretation of the Second Amendment without neutering all the other rights enumerated in the constitution? You can't say "oh this one is special" because your entire legal framework depends on a new amendment with every advancement of technology. To say nothing of society. There goes Obergefell v. Hodges.

All to win suburban white Karens who STILL vote Republican. Sorry, Bill, she's just not that into you.

  20. You have presented the perfect solution to gun violence. Give the guns to women and let them threaten Republicans who want to take away their rights.

People are quick to forget Reagan planned to do just that to the Black Panthers. In fact, gun control has this long history of being racially charged.

Though I also find gun control advocates' willful ignorance of the role of Nazism and other racist ideologies ESPECIALLY WHEN ATTACKING A SYNAGOGUE unnerving.
