KARMA

Reaching out and reminding the Politicians of DC..... I  don't get it?!?!?!?

1967-  The statuesque Jayne Mansfield is killed  when her car runs under the rear end of a tractor tailer. Since then, all trailers have a DOT  bar at the rear to keep cars from going under them.

1982- Seven people die when Tylenol packaging was tampered with. Since then, it takes a Phd, channel locks, and a sharp object to get into a bottle of pills.

1995- A bombing using a certain kind of fertilizer solution grade ammonium nitrate, killed 168 people, so the government, almost over night imposed severe restrictions on the purchase of the fertilizer.

2001- One person , one, attempts to blow up a plane with a shoe bomb. Since then, all air travelers have to take off their shoes most of the time for scanning before being allowed to board.

Since 1968, 1,516,863 people have died from guns on American soil. Gun violence kills an average of 168 people every two days, and that just went up already since yesterday. Now, the problem apparently can't be solved by politicians. Well, except with condolences, thoughts and prayers.

Wake up DC!

KARMA you bitches. And you will be served.

Yep. The numbers just keep racking up. The only way it will change is to remove the gun-lovers from office. And that means on a local and state level, too.

  3. It will never get done. I was convinced of that after that DC softball field incident when Scalise and others were shot.

    1. Maybe one needs to just go in and have target practice then in Congress. Some of there own...and they still don't care.

  5. Oh, it's the money, honey.
The repugs line their pockets with money from the NRA and gun and ammo makers (and they get money from the Russians, but hey) and they will forever stop any attempt to regulate high capacity guns.

    XOXO

  6. Clearly the fertiliser manufacturers, the shoe makers, Tylenol and tractor trailer manufacturers do not pay enough dosh to Republican politicians.....or is it that they cared more for people and wanted to safeguard their products? Or that Tylenol et al did not have the clout that the NRA and their guns have?

  7. Karma is making gun legislation one of your top reasons to vote, and voting out any politician, red or blue, who doesn't step up and fucking do something.
