PISS AND VINGEAR

I think the time for dems to put on the nasty fighting gloves is now.
No time for pleasantries.

Medicare for all:70%  $15 min wage:67% Cheaper drugs: almost all in both parties.

I am trying to figure out why democrat leadership think they can ignore policies this popular and win again? Usually the party in power loses seats in the midterms and the dems majority is already very slim. And the presidents often have only their first few months to move. Now would be the time to urge them not to skip very popular policies...including those they ran on. If what most people doesn't matter, we don't live in a democracy. I know the GOP is not going to deliver on healthcare, one of my huge concerns as these insurance companies rage out of control on cost. I'm beginning to wonder if Biden will either. I see to many similarities

My other great concern is climate crisis. I saw on the gram one day where Cori Bush said "Our planet is on fire, communities are flooding and glaciers are melting. Why is our biggest focus on the infrastructure package bipartisanship with climate deniers rather than massive climate action?" I agree with her but Cori and  other progressives have proven that they will do nothing but tweet and talk, The answer is to stop electing greed-based politicians like 90% of  what we have and most of Cori's co-workers. If both parties weren't a failure on the climate crisis, we wouldn't be in one as dire.

First off Prime Day is a joke. Amazon only uses it as an opportunity to offload inventory and slash the price of it's own products in an effort to pad it's prime memberships. But the above is yet again another reason I will never buy or support any of it's services. They don't give two shits about there workers let alone show their true colors on minority issues.

  1. I LOVE THESE!!!!! As a life long democrat...this is prime reason I always get so frustrated with this party. More than ever in these times it's complete bullshit how soft we get when were in power.

    1. My father was a republican. He always told mom and I the dems were the party of milky toasts.

  2. While I haven't live in the US in some time....I will say it's a shame the dems don't move as fast on other things like they did the virus and vaccine roll out. It looks simple...Democrats need to stand up and get nasty.

And the environment? Politicians are all big phonies. The climate change is big business. But no matter what we do as countries, it will not stop China Iran Brazil and Russia from destroying the planet.

  3. I'm with you on Amazon. There behind the door policies are sick and disgusting. It's simple -do not shop at amazon. But some have no self respect I guess.

I have given up hope with both parties as far as healthcare. It is getting beyond appalling the cost of things and how much % of things insurance companies will cover. It's getting ridiculous. For what I pay for my benefits they stink. And the arguing to get them to cover things is getting old.

    1. The healthcare thing is completely out of control. I agree. With every job I had my benefits get worst and I'm paying more and more and for what???? I swear this country is on the verge of collapse some days.

  4. And everybody is once again worried about going into space.....when we have so many more issues and problems facing us here....with all that money that could do far more here on the planet. Fuck space. Musk and Benzo can go out there and take most of Congress with them and hopefully not return.

    1. I couldn't agree more...once we have all our issues here taken care of, and that money put to good use, then should we explore space. ALL THAT MONEY spent, could do so much more good down here.

  5. I love when you blow. But jokes aside it's getting overwhelming the issues.

  6. Im Democrat for years now, and have never been more frustrated them I am now. I'm beginning to think their nothing but talk and less action. Better not cave on the voting rights or the taxation demands on the infrastructure bill. Biden needs to have a serious conversation with Schumer and Pelosi...they are getting past the used by date.

  7. I couldn't agree more about the Dems. If we don't get tought....were done henny!!! Love these.

And Amazon? Billionaires pay zero in federal taxes while the rest of us pay out the ass. That's called freeloading. In my opinion if people shop amazon and don't see a problem with how they treat their work force and some of their minorities, your only helping add to the current problems. I mean, who needs a bathroom break?

    1. That they are quibbling to get a bathroom break shows there are some huge problems with that company on how they treat their workers. I say they should go piss on the CEO's desk.

  9. The thing with Dems is that they play by the rules. Something the Repugs have never done. Not even when they were 'Dems'. Moscow Mitch is a stain in the history of this country, really. His obstructionist views are shameful and applauded by the party as a whole.
I hope the Dems stop being nice and start playing to win.
And don't get me started with Amazon!!

    XOXO

    1. I agree. I used to think it was great we dems played by the rules....but it's now getting us no where. And Amazon gets me worked up more each day.

  10. The repugs only care about power and themselves. The time for action is NOW, like you said. The Dems need to lead with some balls.

  11. Yes. That last one is very upsetting. Racism at it's best. The war on drugs has always been about race, no better than the Black Codes enacted in the south to re-enslave freed black people. As for the Dems - they need to get their shit together soon. The clock is ticking. We've only three years left. And with mid-terms looming even sooner? I think our country is lost. Chaos and stupidity and outright criminality seem to be the norm, now. We have actual criminals in both houses. It's all distracting us from actually moving forward with a green initiative, universal healthcare, and a living wage. These billionaires racing to get into space? Really, gentlemen? You're 12 year olds still trying to figure out why your willy gets hard. Shame on them. Take your wealth and do something constructive. Buy Detroit and fix it. That? That would be impressive. Having your own rocket ship? That makes you look like a damn fool. Kizzes.

  14. I so appreciate your distaste in almost all of them. Like the republican party, the democratic party is also a former shell of itself....too much hot, big talk, but when the push comes to shove it's like, Hmmmm let's run it by the Republicans first to be nice. Fuck that shit. Grow balls.

  15. There is something really wrong mentally with the Dems in congress. You need to call, email, harass your Senators. Every day - especially during the August recess. Show up at their offices, march in front of their houses.
If something is not done to protect the vote, the repuglicans will take over in '22 and we'll be living in a Banana Republic.

  16. Excellent! I can't say a bad thing about the dems to my friends without them getting their panties in a twist.....so I love this. I think the problem is it's because most of the people in power are owned by the corporations that helped elect them...Biden included.

  17. My question is Why do we keep electing the same people on both side of the aisle who continuously let down we the people by serving their own self interests first. Minimum wage, healthcare and the climate should be the three things we need first! Next election I'm voting all new people in after researching them. The country just gets richer and poorer. Soon their will be no in between. you either be in poverty or ultra rich.

    1. Empress, I think people bitch for change, but them become complacent to do any research on their candidates and just keep reelecting the same people, thinking they are doing there jobs, when there not. We need to address these basic needs and fuck space exploration. Hell, we can man a fucking ship from Earth on Mars, but can't fix the electric and cooling needs with power outages on this planet. Hence Texas this winter.

  20. I heard on the news that rather than give to charity Amazon burns products!!!!
How is this morally right? It's not.
I am guilty. I am a member of Amazon prime but I'm beginning to think the cost is too great.

I am with you. Go piss on the CEO desk.

    1. When I heard that they did that from Helen above, I was way beyond appalled. I am so stubborn to use them that during the pandemic when one couldn't find basic things or local places were without...and I heard I could get them from Amazon quick and cheap....I went without. Ill suffer before giving them my money.

  21. That's why I call them the Do Nothing Democrats. All they do is tweet about how unfair things are, but only one or two of them actually try to do something about it. They're the biggest welfare queens on the planet. They get a $170k salary, free health care, and don't do a damn thing to earn it.

I wish I could boycott Amazon. My problem is whenever I "shop local" the most common phrases I hear from clerks are "we don't have it" or "we can't order it for you either". It's even worse for comics and manga. It's either Amazon or nothing at all unless you order the most popular titles.

  22. All of these have a true and great point...sadly. It is getting pitiful the state of this country. I voted for Biden but with exception to the handling of the virus and vaccines, and his appointed cabinet memebers... I have yet be impressed by what's gotten down so far.

I think Amazon stinks...even thought I never order anything on line. My daughter say the same thing like one of the above commenters. If you shop a place like amazon or others with shady operations and terrible greed, your only adding fuel to the fire, and of their ignorant ways. The workers stories coming out of their are horrendous.

  23. At this point it's the less of two evils. but parties suck balls, and I firmly believe minimum wage and healthcare will never happen. The insurance companies, much like the NRA, HAVE BOUGHT AND PAID FOR THE politicians.
