I don't know I ever mentioned it, but Buster is a huge bread thief! He has swiped whole loaves bread or buns and eaten it. The only evidence left has been the plastic ripped bag left behind. He even got my mother's dog Lilith in on it once, not to mention her passed on dog Lady.
We used to have a Rottweiler who perfected the "landshark" move by standing next to the table and reaching her head sideways onto the table and snagging whatever was near the edge of the table, sweetpea! She was a hoot to watch and I still miss her 30 years later. xoxo
If you had Beagles it would have disappeared before you could snap a picture. All you’d get is the empty plate.
ReplyDeleteI'm am dying to see pictures of your infamous pups! I bet they are adorable!!!!
DeleteThe whole picture cracks me up!

DeleteThat ear of Buster's always makes me grin. He's got a really nice figure for a bread thief!
ReplyDeleteBoth ears go up when on alert or he hears a noise, but when at ease, the one always sticks up. Never could figure that out.
DeleteMaybe he's a secret guard dog. He's keeping one ear open for sounds of danger (or feet walking away from the bread).
DeleteI don't blame Buster -- it looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so sweet and of course innocent. Just look at those eyes.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
The good thing about a small dog is that Ozzo never sees food on the countertops!
ReplyDeleteNot Buster. He been known to utilize chairs and bar stools to get to the counter tops. He is very spry for 12

ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! Now that is probably more my mother's dog's trick. She is a Ridgeback. And she does it very slow motion.
DeleteThat is hilarious, I think perhaps your Fur Baby is perfecting the Innocent I Didn't Do It look for after said Heist?
ReplyDeleteOh Dawn, he has had that down for quite some time.
DeleteI picture Buster being very mischievous like a racoon.
ReplyDeleteHad he thought about it, he should have distracted you with gin.....
ReplyDeleteAw. You've got him all wrong! He was just guarding it for you......
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet boy. X
He's guarding it alright.
DeleteHhhhm, ham and cheese.
ReplyDeleteBuster is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha
ReplyDeleteBUSTER!!!
XOXO
LOL! You know he's going to run off with that sandwich if you turn around for a few seconds.
ReplyDeleteI know he will!
DeleteBuster: the ingenious cat-burglar at work!
ReplyDeleteCAT being the word. I think at times he thinks he's part cat.
DeleteI am late - I bet that sandwich is history, I hope Buster enjoyed it!
