AND ON MONDAY...THE HORROR!!!!!
Here are all images that give me some sort of feeling or other. The first was a clip from a horror movie and turned out to not be what the plot we thought it was, and that bitch was caught trying to kill her husband with her lover. I was one of the House On Haunted Hill versions. That skeleton, after pushing her closes the trap door so she can't get get, and drowns. Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! The mother and I are relaxing today before she departs tomorrow. I'm already counting the houseboys to make sure none go missing this time.
Do any of you welcome witches, ghosts or presence in your home to play hostess?!?!?
It's creepy and it's spooky...mysterious and ooky ...well, except for those adorable dogs!
ReplyDeleteaddams family reference!
DeleteThat ghost walking on slits gives me chills. I wonder what it's from?
Deleteonly one witch in my house - ME! would your mama actually kidnap a houseboy? what would she do with him?
ReplyDeleteShe did before!!!!! Three were missing and I don't ask questions.
DeleteCarebear, witch is spelled differently in my house, and there're two of us. Me and my dog, Bella who was born with the title. I had to earn mine.
DeleteIs that Cujo??? That's one tonight i see.
DeleteNope. Cujo is a son of one though.
DeleteI would always welcome Mr Devine into my home, if he needed somewhere to park his broomstick. I would also welcome cute dogs wearing sheets.
ReplyDeleteSx
I too told him that. But he said broom is not equipped for a team Atlantic flight.
DeleteIf Broom doesn't start to buck its ideas up I know a Guy Fawkes Night bonfire that could do with the kindling.
DeleteOf course, then I'd have to try and find and break in a new one...
Yes, count those houseboys, LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh, come on, you can certainly spare ONE houseboy for dear old mom.
ReplyDeleteOhhh I’ve seen that movie! Old timey scary movies are the bomb.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the doggies! So cute.
XoXo
Movie night????? Ill bring the drinks.
DeleteNow, you wouldn't deny your mother a houseboy, would you?
ReplyDeleteAre you speaking of yourself, mistress??? You, my dear, would always be welcome in my home!!! xoxo
Aren't you sweet!!!!! Somehow im sure one or two go missing.
DeleteIf your mother is anything like you, sweetie, keep her away from the houseboys! Someone could break a hip, and I'm not talking about your mom!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!!!! Would you believe neither of us have ever been in the hospital or broke anything??? She just said yesterday....the only time in hospital was to have me. And she is bad like me. She embarrassed me in front of our take out waiter Saturday night!!!!!!!
DeleteThat's what mothers are for, dear Mads.
DeleteI love the cake stand with the luscious looking fruits and flowers.
ReplyDeleteI laughed so much at the stilt walking spirit......what's that all about then?
Your blog won't let me reply to your question on the previous post so I will reply here. 18th.
Enjoy your time with your mom. Don't be mean, lend her a house boy!
Damn this new blogger!!!!!! I hope your day will be a good too. I'll think about it....she embarrassed me with out take our waiter then other night...she asked him to take me out on a date. He was rather cute. I now have learned to never comment on men when's she's around.
DeleteI have seen that movie - last year at Halloween !
ReplyDeleteI love that original one!
DeleteHad plenty of bitches, not witches, come to our house... Jx
ReplyDeleteNo doubt comparing broomstick sizes......
DeleteIt's actually a vat of acid, a few moments later her skeleton comes floating to the surface. If you saw it in a movie theater when it was released, a skeleton was pulled on a rope over the audience. My, how times have changed.
ReplyDeleteIs that what happened? I couldn't remember. The remake was good, but the originals are hard to beat.
DeleteI was going to tell you everything that Dave R just told you, so now I don't have to. I was a mere child when that movie was in the theaters and that skeleton came floating out over the audience. I was freaked at the time.
ReplyDeleteThose ghost pictures have me the willies... especially the one on stilts!!!! I love the seasonal feel though...some good chills.
ReplyDeleteI watched House on the Haunted Hill a few nights ago. I love all the nostalgic photos, but the tall ghost (number 8, I think) is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat one gives me those old fashioned chills over something so simple. So special effects needed.
DeleteI just like the candy, sweetpea! *wink* xoxo
ReplyDeleteWell, I've not Invited any, but I did once live in a legit Historic Haunted Home on a Street called Hill, I kid you not!
ReplyDeleteNow that would be a great post for blog fodder Dawn.
DeletePS: Lend Dear Ole' Mom a Houseboy or Two.
ReplyDeleteOh, come on. You can look the other way if a houseboy or two wanders off with Mom right?
ReplyDeleteBoo, your meme sure brought in a ghostly laugh. Stay Safe and Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteThe doggos are the best. Who could rest them? They get all the treats.
ReplyDeleteThat first gif... from a Vincent Price movie? I get it confused with the one where they all get trapped in the mansion... such wonderful films. I love this time of year. And those vintage pinups! Such a treasure trove. Seems to have been some kind of rite of passage for starlets. I'd love to see YOU in a scary black and white pin up photo, dear. Or maybe Pam? Just a thought. Hee hee. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they don't go bump in the night and wake me up. I need all the beauty sleep I can get at this age.
