ReplyDeleteNews of his murder hit me like a stone (which is amazing, considering I was no great fan of his; my best friend in school was mad for him, however) - but I will never, ever forget the shiver that went down my spine when thousands of voices in unison whispered his name at the memorial in Central Park when #9 Dream was played.

I was a big fan when I was at school too, and when he died all my friends gave me the newspaper articles about him - I still have all those articles - it was really sweet of them to do that.
