ReplyDeleteI have to say that Sharon Needles is one of my favorite RPDR queens. Hands down. I love me some scary queens. Now, Vander Von Odd is truly a performance artist. I saw her in Dragula and in Nightgowns. She has this act where she comes out as a fucking haunted house! Priceless.
And talking about acts, may I have everything Louisiana Purchase is wearing? Wig and all? I think I've found my Halloween costume...

I think the win goes to Victoria Elizabeth Black and a close second to Vander Van Odd. Rather amazed you couldn't find something more terrifying from Sharon Needles. I saw her live at Duluth Pride one year with her band. Loved it. So glad I saw it. She had the cutest bass player. And her songs were very Alice Cooper - which was fun, fun, fun. Thanks for doing this, hon. Also fun, fun, fun. Have a happy!
ReplyDeleteOh Victoria..... is simply amazing isn't she? I think with Sharon I choose a less terrifying picture for that very reason. It's expected of her. This one spoke to me.... still dark, but very calm and almost wistful mood, but you know there is evil underneath. I have seen and met her several time when in Philadelphia. She used to come here alot with Alaska when they were still a couple.
