SEEN IN NEW HOPE

Well, after spending all week back at the Casa with exception to my lake runs, the weather was beautiful this weekend to get out. You know I can't stand being in doors. Our fair hamlet of New Hope is generally packed to the gills this time of year. The autumn is the busiest season for the town, with many shopping the antique shops in and out of town, not to mention most want to come here to "feel the chill of the spook and specters of the town, as New Hope is one of the most haunted towns in the US. If one is in tune with such things, you will gather the sense and vibe of things. After being a ghost town since July, and many places gone from the closures, the crowds were still back full force...but unless you have a reservation or mask, your not getting in anywhere, which I found very smart. I would say 90% of the people just walking had masks on too, which was nice to see. I had a lovely walk along the canal before heading to my second meal out since this whole mess happen. It was lovely. Since I know the town like the back of my hand, I know how to avoid the crowd. It felt good to get out.

I would have normally jumped in...but to cool now. Im surprised they didn't have the pool covered up yet.

Stopped to feed the ducks.
I hit one of my favorite places Zoubi,  for dinner. They were very happy to see I was still around. It's a small place, but so cool. I told them this was only my second time since March dinning out. The owner gave me two slices of cheesecake for dessert to take home on the house!!! I was one of three tables being sat... so I felt safe... and I enjoyed a lovely Manhattan or three.
I also hit up the Mystickal Tymes to pick up some smug sticks I use at home. I love the smell of the cedar wood to burn to scent the home. And who knows, I may have even got some provisions to cast a spell or two over the great ass....bwahahahahahahahaha!

And whether you believe in spells and potions are not , trust...they have everything one needs here to get the job done. Edward and Eric, the owners, are very knowledgeable on all things witchcraft and will help direct such spells and events.  I love the wall of the ingredients...
And the lovely and all knowing Morgana, the 22 year old shop cat. I think she deserves to sleep wherever she wants. She a friendly cat, loves pets, just don't cross her...she just may be a white witch!!!!!
Now let me start this potion to unleash the spirits and the dead. I have been told from certain sources they will join my squirrel and aviary invasion's to end and wipe out DC. You didn't think it was pure luck the covid hit the white house by chance did you?

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha haaaaaaa
bwahahhaaa ha.......

  13. I am adoring the place you dined with the wall herb garden with frame around it. That is so creative. I would fit right in back in New Hope...but I don't miss the US that much to ever come back. Hope you enjoy time out. Loved seeing the witch shop.

  16. The pride sign in the one witch shop (to my eyes, it looks more like a bumper sticker) made me think of the old sitcom Bewitched. Dick Sargent (the second Darren), Paul Lynde (Uncle Arthur), George Tobias (Abner Kravitz), Maurice Evans (Maurice, Samantha's father), and Agnes Moorehead (Endora, Samantha's mother and Maurice's estranged wife) were all gay. Elizabeth Montgomery was straight, but rode in a convertible with Dick Sargent in a pride parade a few years before she died.

    1. Your correct Kirk, there is indeed a new Hope celebrates pride banner hanging there. They are all over town, but seems fitting to be here at the witch shop right?

A friend of mine had a cat that lived to be nearly 24!

  23. I think there may have been a whole shit-ton of spells sent that way. I am only sorry that he hasn't suffered enough to make it sink in and matter to him. So, we got yet another ridiculous and very expensive photo op, putting more govt. employess in danger. (Oh, yes, Ms. Collins, he's learned his lesson alright - that you Rethuglicans will allow him to get away with anything.)
    Lovely, lovely town!
