Sarah Jessica Parker was photographed by Mario Testino at The Beacon in Jersey City and looking very chic! While I do enjoy Sarah Jessica and her style, I have never been a huge fan, but I will say she looks very stunning in these photos in the May issue of Vogue. I love the way she is looking so elegant, in mostly European couturiers, against the old ugly crumblings of the building and it's interiors. Y'all know the Mistress loves herself some serious couture! Bravo to Vogue for such a wonderful photo spread and fabulous fashion.
I love Sarah Jessica Parker and I don't think I ever saw her look better- ever! These pictures don't even compare to her in the movie or the show. The gowns and sresses are just gorgeous!

i love her, but she's giving me SO MUCH carrie here... i mean, i've watched the first satc movie about 20 times (srsly), and the first, second, and next-to-last pictures are almost straight out of the wedding photo shoot montage.
ReplyDeleteas bob said, though, whether as carrie or sjp, bitch can carry off an outfit, and ultimately, that's what matters. i heard that the dress she wore on the vogue cover is an altered calvin klien and was never meant to be sold in stores, but the demand for it has been so high that it hits stores tomorrow. that's all anybody really needs to know, right?

ReplyDeleteI just love your blog Mistress,so much visual and splash of life! I find the SJP photo spread in May's Vogue just stunning! I feel it's even better then her last go round in the magazine. The clothing they chose for her was just fitting, but then again, she is one of the few who can pull just about anything off.

ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best couture spreads I have seen in a while. Vogue also does a wonderful job and I just adore SJPso much for her the of great fashion, but I didn't care for the movie as much.

ReplyDeleteI think Sarah Jessica Parker's secret is that when you put an outfit on her the clothes finally know who they are. They can't help but be defined by her personality and energy. Put them on someone else and they just aren't the same clothes.
