Meet Raven... in her own words. "My first time in drag was not completely unfortunate but a little rough! Bushy brows, thin lips, and a bit of a 5 o’clock shadow. I have definitely stepped it up a little! My persona is a conglomeration of all things I find sexy. From dark and mysterious, to gorgeous glamazon and everything in between! I feel I can do it all!!! White pumps after Labor Day...I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!!! The ONLY time you should be caught dead in flats is exactly that...in your coffin! Raven is from Riverside CA where she entertains the masses weekly! And as beautiful as Tyra looked, Raven sooooooo should have gotten this title! Ah well she will always be fierce!

ReplyDeleteOne of the many people I have friended on Facebook for gaming purposes -- hello Farmville and Sorority Life -- wrote an update over her displeasure over Tyra winning. We bonded over how Raven or Juju should have won. I remember thinking "Say what?" when Tyra was announcedas the winner. Raven was robbed.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all LOVE Raven! She is just fabulous and rocked more looks then anyone. But like last year, Nina Flowers really should have won also. Bebe is sharp but again something about the personality bothered me. And drags are suppose to be over the top, not look like women, that's female impersation to me. You go Raven.
ReplyDeleteThe final three should have been Juju, Pandora, and Raven! Really the latter two were what I think of as drag queens. But Raven rocked the looks!

ReplyDeleteOut of the three left I really did like Raven the best. Her make-up is just flawless! And I can really repsect queens who can work many different looks. But I was a little disappointed at this years show, I don't think they were campy enough either. And I agree with Bea, Nina should have won last year also. Bebe coundn't dance worth shit! At least Raven can perform AND dance. She is a beauty though!
