Happy Monday All!!
By the time this post I should be about on my way back home on the 9-hour trek from a lovely jaunt from P-Town...as hard as that will be. I must admit it's great being there off season...no crowds. But also, way to cool to lay out in square cut. It's always a bit sad to leave P-Town too. We enjoyed some nice cock-a-tails along the harbor one night...a glorious day Friday. It's always a welcoming and charming place. Now it's time to start using the rest of my vacation time before the end of the year, before losing it. So, this week how bad can it be? We only have a four-day work week and a weekend to get through before MM#1 Fan and I will be departing, for our long-awaited trip to the lovely Italian Riveria towns of Portofino and Capri. May seem odd to be gone for my birthday and Hallowe'en festivities. I'm sure I'll survive.
Now this is the slice of heaven I spoke of....
The guy in the hammock brightened MY mood!
ReplyDeleteThings certainly did look up when he appeared, I agree Ricko.
DeleteThe video in P'town is too short, as was your visit I'm sure. I could spend all day in that hammock. You actually have vacation time remaining?!?
ReplyDeleteIt was short, but four days was good. I hadn't had time before to get up there sooner this season. Yes...when I started my current job, there benefits are excellent. I started out with 120 hours! Every two years you get more!!! So I made sure to save some for this trip and the Budapest trip and three days for a "just in case".
DeleteWhat a completely fun and festive mood board. I just love Halloween. I seem to have liked it better since I've gotten older. And I wondered when your other big trip was going to be. You usually take a big trip every summer. I have always wanted to go to the Italian Riviera and have never made it. This will be new for you, you don't usually travel in the fall do you? I hope you have a safe drive home also.
ReplyDeleteYou're off to Portofino and Capri?! Jealous, moi? NEVER! Jx
ReplyDeletemy.....i can see all the sunglasses, turbans, and wide brims be packed already for the mistress.
DeleteI figured you would do for your big trip soon. That we're going to need to see pictures of!
ReplyDeleteAnd the Grandpa Munster photo crack me the hell up! What a great mood board.
Portofino and Capri! Yowza! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteTundra Bunny here...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll find suitable places in Portofino and Capri to haunt, Maddie. Buon Viaggio!
I hope to meet a million Viscount.! Then that will make it the Viscountess Borghese. You can come visit!
DeleteOh, Mads.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll get over it all. A vacation in Italy cures most ailments.
And is that one of your Brazilian houseboys?? Because damn!
XOXO
Ohhhhhhhh that man is tooooo many things......
DeleteFrom P-town to P-fino!! Have a fabulous time!
ReplyDeleteI'll take the devilish English Bulldog!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great time in Italy, but I can't help but wonder how often you have to replace suitcases!
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to see Portofino and that part of the coast. I hope you have a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Portofino and Capri! Be still my beating heart.
ReplyDeleteWe are looking to visit Capri next year, combined with a trip to Pompeii and Herculaneam.
The black forest cake looks divine. I could just eat a nice slice of that. 😁
I do hope you have a wonderful time and a lovely birthday too. Xx
You need a blog...I would love to hear all about that month in France. And yes, in another two almost two weeks ...another year older. Thank you Christina!
DeleteFun mood board!!! Haunting too. I assume the man in the hammock was under the dick dock?
ReplyDeleteI say go and enjoy now, because we all know winter lingers!!! Can't wait to see a recap of your jaunt. I love witches so that last picture is actually quite beautiful! As do the cakes, but my hips say NOOOOOOOO.
ReplyDeleteLove these autumn mood boards lately!!! It's a toss up between the big dicked dude, the bulldog and the cake!!!! The video short definitely looks relaxing...I could use some.
ReplyDeleteItaly! You lucky man. Do things I wouldn't do.
ReplyDeleteWent to Portofino once on a VERY fleeting visit. Just remember, don't eat too much pasta.
ReplyDeleteGood advice Helen. I do have a square cut to fit into. Maybe that will help with controlling my food intake?!?!?
DeleteOMG.... Italy? Now I'm totally jealous. Can you fit me into your square cuts - er, I mean, suitcase?
ReplyDeleteYou can help me out of the square cuts!!!
DeleteOh, you.... Ahem....know me too well! Well, I guess it would make sense to be naked...swimming in Lake Como. I mean, we would stop in to see George, right? 😉
DeleteThe season is upon us 🎃🦇
ReplyDeleteI also like pumpkin. Pumpkin risotto is so good!
