I'm guessing those are somebody else's hands holding up the colour chart. Meanwhile, she's got her hands around something else, just slightly off camera.
Maybe it's the clear stuff. As a nail biter myself, I was told never to wear bright polish because it accentuates the gnawed nature of my nails. Short the nail, lighter the polish. I never polish my nails. My toes on the other hand-bring it!
Ooh, Ms Agnes, you're so right! My designated name is Etta Sandwich (if I were a drag queen), however, I would love Spice Cookie as my (never gonna be a) stripper name! Mads introduced me to his cookies last year. They are the best!
Yes...some do shave off their eyebrows and it drives me nuts. When your your male self it just looks like shit otherwise. I always keep mine shaped...and then use a combination of a glue stick and a brow cover to cover mine up. I refuse the alter my male appearance just to do drag. I want to good good as both sexes honey.
I've always been hesitant to do much to my eyebrows because of an aunt who over-plucked hers so much in the 1930's and 40's that she had to draw them in for the rest of her life! I trim and pluck my eyebrows just enough to NOT look like Yosemite Sam, LOL!
Interestingly enough, there is a 'paint by numbers' reference in my upcoming book.
ReplyDeleteAll that wonderfulness seems undone by the lack of nail polish.

DeleteI think the nails would be done next. Easier to apply all those colors without the nails getting in the way. She’s a rainbow … plus!
DeleteDeedles...I guessing your toe nails are always bright!!!
DeleteI can't get past the eyes.....
And yes...nails always get done last Mitchell.
I was thinking Rainbow Bright until I read what Miss Boots said and now I cannot stop looking at her nails!!!
ReplyDeleteShe should have done the nails.
DeleteStunning. That must take hours. Perfection. Have a lovely weekend, dear.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteAmazing eye design, but can you see out?
ReplyDeleteThis hurt my eyes. I now have a headache. I suppose that could be that overdose of Mexican Spice cookies.
ReplyDeleteMexican Spice cookies? I was thinking Spice Cookie would make a great drag name.

DeleteOh, wow! Wonder what it looks like with open eyes.
ReplyDeleteThat's a BEAT.
ReplyDeleteI'm forever in awe of the artistry of Drag performers. Forever.
XOXO
Her wig is stunning -- I especially like the jewelled bauble! It would make a great brooch.
ReplyDeleteDo Drag artists shave off their eyebrows or is the face make-up so thick that it covers them? Sabrina's face looks as smooth as glass!

DeleteNow that is BEAT!!!!!! And I love color.
ReplyDeleteSome of the best eye make-up I've seen in some time. So precise.
ReplyDeleteI love a lot of color on drag queens, so you know I love this one. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYowza! Her earrings and necklace remind me of tiddly-winks. Remember that old game?
ReplyDeleteTiddly-winks? We're they around the time of pick up sticks and kick the can?
DeleteI think this would be one of the best parts of the trade/craft: color! and lots of it!
ReplyDeleteNow that's Colorful!
