After getting back to the Casa du Borghese last week to check on a current project here, which is coming along swimmingly. My clients kitchen and bath have been gutted down to bare bones and floor boards. On Friday , we went to see the progress of the cabinet maker, River Craft. Looks great...they said the cabinets are coming along nicely. We went to various places for cabinets, but nothing was suiting them, then they decided they wanted to go custom made. Fine with me! But warned them it would be a fortune. I also liked we went with a local maker too, and not a chain. The install should start taking place in two, to three weeks. Now with these projects, it puts me back in the mood of interiors or lack of interiors should I say. Ill be heading back to the ancestral home again this week, to start the other project for another connection, work for my friend who wants help in his shop, and get my first prick of the vaccine! My current mood summed up nicely....
Scenic pictures by 3D artist Joe Mortell He gives me mood.
That opening photo: Yes! I keep saying the back yard needs to "grow up." The statues and other surprise trinkets are all good, the pool of course, but the rest looks like it's been neglected even though it's trimmed every two weeks. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the mid-century modern indoor-outdoor-indoor lifestyle!
ReplyDeleteAnd we're getting pricked on Thursday ... and then we get the vaccine!
Well, that explains that pesky limp you've got.
DeleteGood luck with the interiors.
ReplyDeleteThose ladies sure have sour pusses! They must have been in contact with der Trumpenfuhrer.
I'm having my second shot next week; several of my friends have had their seconds already, but then I'm not quite as antique as they are. Hope you have no side effects from yours.
That woman is the fabulous Emma Thompson!!!! Her getting out of the car reminds me of someone? oh yea, me.
DeleteDid you see Ms Thompson with Mr Tucci in the Children Act? A heartbreaking film
Deleteyou will be fine with your first prick! the interior re-designs sound like fun!
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen is exciting. It's been a lot of planning since February. Time for it to come to fruition. The price tag in insane, but my design time and services commission will be darn nice.

ReplyDeleteAnd remember Mistress, it's in the arm the jab, so don't go in and drop your bloomers!!!! I don't care how cute the nurse is!!!!
Now Agnes...I would NEVER do such a thing.
DeleteI was trying to think of a name for your new home makeover show. And now I have it, [The Mistress] Borghese's Bongo Cha Cha Cha.
ReplyDeleteThat's it. It would start out being a home makeover show, and end up a Happy Hour Show.
DeleteEnjoy that first prick!
ReplyDeleteI haven't met one I didn't like yet.
DeleteInteresting outside areas - what happens when it rains?!
ReplyDeletexoxo :-)
